Social Stamping - Friend

Hello EVERYONE, Thanks for joining me for Kelly Kent's Blog Host.
This is my second Social Stamping blog host post.

I LOVE that Kelly asked her fellow Stampin' Up! friends to connect
via the WWW so that we could share stamping socially,
such a fantastic way to get together and not feel isolated during Covid-19.
There are quite a few of us here today showing you so many

different projects for our Friend.

I have chosen to use the colours from Stampin' Up Challenge #keepstamping
Pretty Peacock, Pool Party, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso...
I just LOVE how all the colours work together even though they look like they wouldn't!

I used 2 Stamp Sets A Little Lace and Artfully Aware and I created 2 cards
using the same fancy fold - Pop Out Fun Fold Card from
Stampingly Patsy

I used Pretty Peacock card base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Score at 4 1/4"
Pool Party inside card 6 1/2" x 5 1/2" Score at 1/2", 2 1/2" and 4 1/2"

Cut You can make the window round or square.  Your cutout on the front of the card just needs to be a bit larger than the one you will attach to pop out.

I used Layered Circle Die with the circles and scallops...
I used No 7 to cut my circle out of my front of base card - Pretty Peacock
I used No 6 to cut another circle out of Whisper White which I stamped the hugging ladies.
Then I cut a Scallop that was just bigger than the Whisper White circle.

Now you are ready to stamp the rest of your card before you stick it in...
(Which I didn't do...being impatient, BUT I recommend you stamp first)

I added my sentiment on the inside

Now you stick the last folded panel with the sentiment to the RHS side of card

Then you fold the rest of the card inside and mark where you circle sits on this piece
Make 2 pencil marks where the circle is...
Cut 2 curves (1 above the top line pencil mark and 1 below the bottom pencil mark)
Only cutting to the score line...

Now you fold the middle back on to itself and stick down.
Then you add some glue or tape to the top and bottom pieces and fold the card up
and stick it to the front panel (just check you can't see the cut marks before fully sticking it)

Now you are ready to add your middle circle to the piece where it is folded back.

I had so much fun I made another quick one

Hope you enjoyed that quick card
