Scrapbooking Global April Blog Hop - Blast From The Past

Welcome to Scrapbooking Global April Blog Hop.
This month is Sherry Roth's first time to pick our theme
as part of her role in our Creative Design Team.
AND she picked a really cool theme...
There are 11 of us hopping today, so you will have plenty of cool ideas to see <3
If you are into Scrapbooking and use Stampin' Up! products check out our group

Thank you Sherry, it is one that you can adapt to any moment in time..
I chose to go back many years and use photos of my Paternal Great Grandparents...
I actually struggled with these photos...I think because of the colour it was.

Dad was reared by his Grandparents, as his parents worked on a very rural property.
So the small photo is Dad with his Parents, Aunts/Uncles and 1 cousin...
Dad is in the front, Sadly I do not know many details of these photo <3

I used Woven Heirlooms Dies and Embossing Frames and
most of the matching products from this Woven Threads Suite.
I added some of the Sahara Sands Woven Threads Trim behind the photo
love the look of the tassels in this Trim, gives that vintage feel.

I borrowed the Heirloom Frames Dies and Embossing Folders from Mum,
this is the first time I used them....They are a lil tricky to line up BUT I got there in the end.
I used Rococo Rose on a dauber to add colour to the frame.

I also used some Embossing Paste to put behind the photo, I actually thing it needs a
bit of ink over the embossing to make it stand out against the Very Vanilla background.

As I said I struggled, still not 100% happy with my finished page.
The layout needs some kinda title BUT not quite sure what at them moment...
I chose to do the layout on Very Vanilla 12 x 12 as the Whisper White was too stark,
so that is why I think it needs something...What do you think?

I absolutely ADORE this Woven Threads DSP... I have created quite a few layouts with it...
The word FOREVER is from Sweet Silhouette Dies which I layered with 3 diecuts.

Products used were all from this Woven Threads Suite

Kre8tors April Blog Hop - Spring

Welcome to Kre8tors Blog Hop, this month's theme is Spring...
There are 26 of us hopping today...
I have been away from this Blog Hop for a while BUT so glad that I am back hopping
with these Talented Demonstrators from all over the world <3

Spring for me is all about Flowers,
So I have been working with the Daisies
this weekend so I just continued with the same products and created a layout
to compliment this one
to sit beside it in the album.

Stamping and Punching all the flowers and the leaves took quite a while...BUT
I had to wait for the Shimmery White Embossing Paste coloured with So Saffron Re-inker
to dry so it was about 1/2hr that I had to kill...I used Early Espresso 12 x12 Cardstock.

I am CASEING an idea from Tina Parson's over at  Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up!
This is an idea that I have been meaning to recreate for a while
so I thought why not for this theme.
As I said I am using all the same products as before.
I used the new products from 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue
Ornate Garden Suite which was an early release,
So bright and cheerful <3
It makes me so happy these papers are just SOOO Beautiful <3
And I have paired it with the Daisy Punch and Daisy Lane and Daisy Delight Stamp Set.

The colour palette from this DSP is Early Espresso, Mint Macaron, So Saffron,
all of which I have used on this layout... Just gorgeous combination.
As well as some favourites of mine Terracotta Tile, Old Olive and White
as well as the soon to be released (New InColor 2020/2022)
Bumblebee.
So I followed the same size from the previous layout to add for my photo.
It was just a matter of laying all the flowers out and sticking them on the page.
Another very quick layout to complete.

So very happy with my Spring Wreath Layout, I cannot wait to print
my photos to put on both of these layouts...

Ink.Stamp. Share Blog Hop - April - Anything Goes

Ink.Stamp.Share Special Blog Hop Anything Goes
So this theme was left right up to our imagination. As long as we used current product!
It's safe to say that the Bird Ballad DSP I am using would have to be my FAV
from the Annual Catalogue and I don't think I am in alone in that statement.
Soon to be retired FOREVER....So might just have to order some more before it retires.

So I hope that you will be inspired by the 16 of us who are hopping tonight.
You may be starting with me or you have just hopped right over from

Nigezza Creates Blog

So I did something I have NEVER done before made an Album from scratch...
AND it still isn't finished...not by a long shot
BUT I am still proud of what I made tonight.

Following along from a tutorial run by a friend, I created the album to the measurements.
No I didn't write the measurements down so I couldn't tell you off the top of my head

what they are... BUT I will be able to find the tutorial and link it back here.

So I used Black A4 cardstock and this became the basis of my album
Then I used Bird Ballad DSP for the inside pages.
We are supposed to have envelope slots and lots more pockets and tags inside.

I used the Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim Ribbon and Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo
in Old Olive and Terracotta Tile and tied it around the album....
Then I add a key from the Bird Ballad Trinkets to the

Well I really hoped you like my Mini Album, tomorrow I will be adding some more elements to this using more products from Bird Ballad Suite and creating some more
interactive pages... using the Free As A Bird Bundle.  Sorry I just couldn't finish it today.

Up NEXT is Jo Blackman, please hit the NEXT Button and you will arrive at her page <3

Thank you for joining me on this Blog Hop, it is always so much fun
