I kept it very simple and used a new stamp and die combination for my card.
I had brought Birds and Branches Bundle as soon as I received the catalogue
BUT had only used it once...So it was NOW time.

I could see the design in my head I just needed it to work out how I dreamed....LOL
AND it did!!!

Using Balmy Blue for the front of my card and Misty Moonlight as the card base.
I also use Cinnamon Cider for the branches.
I adore how it has turned out...

The Spot #123 - Scrapbook Challenge

Welcome to The Spot for Inspiration and Weekly Cardmaking Challenges

This week the theme is all about SCRAPBOOKING....Yay!!!
Something I am very passionate about and have been doing for 18yrs

If you would LOVE to join in the challenge create a 1 or 2 page layout or a Mini album
and submit your link to the The Spot #123

This week's challenge was a walk in the park for me, I started at 6am this morning
and was finished by 7.30am. I must say I already had the framing and the embellishment clusters cut out and ready after a LIVE I did for Scrappin' On The GO! Tutorial Bundle.

Firstly I drew around a large dinner plate to create a circular template for the
stamped leaf border in Whisper White Craft Stampin' Pad.
The leaf that I used was from Forever Fern Stamp Set.

Next I added the 2 pieces of DSP and the piece of Pretty Peacock Cardstock
over the top of the circular border...
Then I added the 3 frames around the photo of my Daughter and myself.
Then I added the gold foil accents from Forever Gold Specialty Papers
behind the photos and in between the embellishment clusters
and then stuck them all together inside the circle.

I used the Family Party Stamp set for Our Daughter word
and then I used the dies from Playful Alphabet to cut out the word Bride
from our Gold Foil Sheets.

Love how it turned out... Here some more photos frames and the clusters

The Spot #122 - Coffee, Cocktails, & Chocolate Challenge

http://www.thespotcreativechallenge.com/…/challenge-122.html

Welcome to The Spot for Inspiration and Weekly Cardmaking Challenges
Every Tuesday we have a completely new challenge for you.
This week the theme is all about Coffee, Cocktails and Chocolate

The
Design Team Members are Stampin' Up! Demos from around the globe,
there are 14 of us in total and we all LOVE challenges.

Be sure to check out what the rest of the team have created here

This week was a NO Brainer for me, I used the Brand New product
Nothing's Better Than BUNDLE....

On the previous weeks I have just created a card, this morning at 3.30am
I decided it was a good idea to create a Fancy Fold Card...
YES that is correct you read it right I decided to create a Step Fold Card
at that time of the morning...When I spoke to my husband on the phone at
4.30am he said that I was CRAZY....Probably!!!
I was back in bed at 8am as I couldn't keep my eyes open LOL

I followed Courtenay Heuston's Step Fold Card design
Here are the measurements/score linesCut A4 card in half to give you a piece 14.9cm x 21cm
fold in half at the 10.5 cm point.
Using the trimmer measure across 8 cm then using the ruler on the clear trimmer arm (where the blade slides) starting at 5.5cm cut down to 18.5 cm, score as per the photo below. Crease the score lines in alternate directions to give the step look.

Using the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper with all the Brass Foiled DSP.
I wanted to keep it simple and let the DSP and the Stamped images tell the story.
So I used the DSP with the Brass Globes all over it and cover my Basic Black card base
on the left hand side panel, the I found the card "You make the world a better place"
from the World of Good Memories & More Card Pack to put on the front panel.
I also added a Globe Sticker from the Memories & More Card Pack.

Then I used the Black and Brass checked DSP to cover all my step up panels.
This DSP is just so Classy!!!

Next I stamped all my images in Versamark on Whisper White Cardstock
and then added Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set them with Heat Tool.
https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/nothing-s-better-than-photopolymer-stamp-set-(en)

Even though the rest of the card is done with Brass, the Gold works well with it.
I love the simplicity of this card with just the Black and Brass and
the White and Gold Stamped images of Chocolate, Coffee and Cocktails...

I would LOVE for you to join us weekly and create some cards/project or Scrapbooking.

I do hope you have FUN creating for this challenge,

Welcome to The Spot for Inspiration and Weekly Cardmaking Challenges

The Design Team Members are Stampin' Up! Demos from around the globe,

So to be given a weekly challenge it allows us to dig into our creative side.
This week we have a sketch to use as our inspiration.
Be sure to check out what the rest of the team have created here

I chose to use Magic In The Night DSP which is in the BRAND NEW Aug-Dec 2020 Mini
This product is released for sale on Aug 4 to customers all around the world,
BUT as a Benefit of being a Demonstrator we got to pre-order it a month earlier.

Magic In The Night DSP is a Halloween inspired watercolour designs and florals.
With spiders, spiders webs,
bats as well as TRULY Beautiful rose designs on the paper.
I am NOT usually attracted to Halloween ANYTHING...BUT I Love this DSP.

So as soon as I saw the design I knew that I had to use this DSP.
Little bits of fussy cutting of the spider web DSP and some of the black water colour roses
and multi coloured floral designs from the DSP.
I added a lil bit of Black Glitter Paper this and lil bit of
Iridescent Pearls and Metallic Mesh Ribbon from The Magic In The Night Suite.

I used Black Glitter Paper for the 3 lil spiders, these were die cut from
the Little Treat Box Dies which has all occasion dies
like the Spiders, Santa Hat, Christmas Baubles,
Present and Engagement ring.

Ink & Share Blog Hop July - Travel

Welcome to Ink and Share Scrapbook Blog Hop, this month we are focusing on
the use of Punches from Stampin' Up! Catalogue for use on Scrapbooking pages.
With the Aug- Dec 2020 Mini Catalogue due to go LIVE on Aug 4 I thought
I would FOCUS on Gleaming Ornament Punch Pack...
This product was in last year's Mini and I LOVE them so much...
You may have just joined me from Sue McDonald's Blog
or you are starting the Blog Hop with me...

This is a quick and easy layout to construct once you have punched out all the elements
40 Small Punched ornaments (double side DSP)
11 Sprig Punch
Fussy Cutting of Holly leaves
4" x 6" Night of Navy Photo Mat
and then a Smaller Photo Mat 3 3/4" x 5 3/4" out of Star DSP.
Merry Christmas out of Copper Foil Sheets

Firstly I drew a circle on my page with a large dinner plate with a pencil
Then I stamped the largest matching stamp all around the circle

Next I divided up the Blue/Copper Foil DSP and the Stripey DSP
I scored them up the middle so that I could fold them in half.
Then I started arranging around the circle with the Blue/Copper Foil DSP first
the went back and added the Stripey DSP with some dimensionals
in between all the Blue/Copper Foil ornaments...

Next I added all the Foil Holly Leaves on the Stripey DSP Ornaments
Now to add a Photo Mat and Photo Mat Layer
Then I constructed the spray of Sprig Leaves and Foil Holly Leaves
over the edge of the photo mats.
I only used Glue Dots and Mini Stampin' Dimensional on the very outer edges
So we could STILL slip a photo in under all the Sprig Leaves.
Finally I added the Merry Christmas words from Word Wishes Dies

This layout will be GREAT for a Christmas Tree photo or all the family unwrapping gifts.
Perfect to go inside a Shadow Box Frame.
The Wreath was so easy to construct... I am sure that you could choose any of the
Beautiful designs from the soon to be re-released Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP.

The Spot - #120 Christmas In July Challenge

Welcome to The Spot for Inspiration and Weekly Cardmaking Challenges
Every Tuesday we have a completely new challenge for you.

The
Design Team Members are Stampin' Up! Demos from around the globe,
there are 13 of us in total and we all LOVE creating.
So to be given a weekly challenge it allows us to dig into our creative side.

This week The Spot - #120 Christmas In July Challenge

Can you believe that in just 4 days it will be 5 months until Christmas
Where has this year gone...DOWN the Covid-19 drain!!!

Well that being said I have created my very first card for Christmas 2020.
I am off to a great start. Let's hope they get posted this year LOL.
Do you post Christmas Cards or just hand deliver them?
I have all good intentions BUT usually I forget to post them off...

This card is very simple...
Last year I almost brought Most Wonderful Time Product Medley.
BUT I didn't so a friend loan me her papers so I could use these...
I have ordered them now that they are BACK in the catalogue!!
So that is what I am using for my card.
Stamps, Ink and Paper plus a couple of embellies

I chose the Christmas Tree DSP cut to 10cm x 14.3cm
Then I die cut the middle of DSP with a Stitched Rectangle Die 5 1/2cm x 9cm
Next I die cut a piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock  with the Stitched Rectangle Die
7 1/2cm x 11cm
I used 'O Christmas Tree' stamp with Old Olive Classic Stampin Pad
and stamped over the background with the words in
a random straight line pattern.

Now that the Soft Sea Foam cardstock is stamped all over with Old Olive words
Add Dimensionals to the piece of Christmas Tree DSP that you cut with the
Sm Stitched Rectangle
Die 5 1/2cm x 9cm
Adhere that to the stamped word background centering it.

Next I added the Gold Hoops from the Forever Fern Suite
I adhered it with 4 rolled up glue dots to stick it to the card.
Then I added some of the Old Olive ribbon from Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo pack

Then I added the Largest Christmas Tree sticker on top of the Gold Hoops
Then I took the Middle sized Christmas Tree, added Dimensional to it
and stuck it on top of the other tree.

Then I stamped 'O Christmas Tree' on the Banner Sticker and stuck it to the Hoop.
Added an insert of Soft Sea Foam and Stamped a tree and a sentiment inside.

I would LOVE for you to join us weekly and create some cards/project or Scrapbooking.
