Haha Hopping is pretty appropriate this weekend...

I used the new products from 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue
Ornate Garden Suite which was an early release, So bright and cheerful <3
It makes me so happy these papers are just SOOO Beautiful <3
And I have paired it with the Daisy Punch and Daisy Lane and Daisy Delight Stamp Set.

My layout was inspired by Dori Schneider Pinterest

Dori used a totally different set to me....So here is my CASE of Dori's layout

The colour palette from this DSP is Early Espresso, Mint Macaron, So Saffron,
all of which I have used on this layout... Just gorgeous combination.
As well as some favourites of mine Terracotta Tile, Old Olive and White
as well as the soon to be released (New InColor 2020/2022) Bumblebee.

This layout took no time at all to put together...
The thing that took the longest was stamping all the daisy flowers...
Those leaves were cut with the leaf punch from some more of the Ornate Garden DSP
some of the sheets have gold foiling on them - divine finish to the paper.

I am loving the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder which has a elegant flower pattern
which you need to use with the NEW Blue Embossing Folder Plate.

Since this photo was taken I have now put bling on the flowers and a Large Title...
So Grateful stamped directly on Whisper White from the
Ornate Thanks Photopolymer Stamp Set.

Social Stamping - Thank You

Hello EVERYONE, Thanks for joining me for Kelly Kent's Blog Host.
This is my first Social Stamping blog host post.  Wow that is a mouthful.
I LOVE that Kelly asked her fellow Stampin' Up! friends to connect
via the WWW so that we could share stamping socially,
such a fantastic way to get together and not feel isolated during Covid-19.
There are quite a few of us here today showing you so many 
different projects that all say Thank You.

My project today was going to be a Scrapbooking Layout...
BUT it just didn't happen, so at 1.30pm I decided I better do something really quick.

I already had some leftover pieces from what I created yesterday so I used those
to create a Twisted Easel Card with the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set/Parisian Floral EF.

I saw Elizabeth Gross create a card using this template a couple of weeks ago,
so I thought I would give it a go... AND her template is here

Elizabeth's tips - The template will work with whatever size card you design...
You just need to make the card front the same size as the back - or slightly smaller.
The position of the anchor will determine how high your card sits.

You may have just joined me from Mandy Depiazzi blog or you are starting with me...

So here is how I created my Parisian Floral EF background.
You apply ink to the flat side of the inside of your embossing folder
then place your cardstock inside and then you run it through your Big Shot...
The ink then transfers to the cardstock. See photo
I used Rococo Rose Stampin Pad and Very Vanilla Cardstock

Next I added some ribbon and then stuck that to Rococo Rose Cardstock.
Stuck this piece to the corner that is going to stand up.

Then I stamped Floral stamp from Forever Blossoms and then sprayed it with some
shimmer paint and fussy cut it out....
Next I Die cut a shape from Stitched So Sweetly out of Sahara Sand
Then started to create my elements on that shape...
Added some Rose coloured thread.
Stamped out my Thanks word from Ornate Thanks, stuck that on my shape.
Then I tied a bow from the Rococo Rbbon.

For the inside of the card I added a Very Vanilla layer and then created my little anchor point for the card to stand up against.
The smaller die cut is also from Stitched So Sweetly Dies then I stamped some more flowers
fussy cut them and so leaves and stamped 'so much' from Forever Blossoms Stamp Set.
Next I added 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots in Rococo Rose.

Self Isolation Creation - Covid-19 CASE your favourite fellow Stampin' Up! Demo

Welcome to Studio Shabaz - CreativeMe68

Yesterday I decided that I wanted to showcase a fellow Stampin' Up! Demo,
by CASEING her design... Monica Formosa created this card for  

Colour Inkspiration CI#73 .

 

Isn't it a BEAUTIFUL CARD?

So I decided that I that I would create something similar for Colour Inkspiration CI #74
Using the colour palette Night of Navy, Whisper White, Basic Gray and Mango Melody.

So during a Zoom Meeting where I was crafting with my fellow team members 

I created this basic card....BUT I wasn't happy with it....

So typical of me I had to keep adding stuff to it....

Cut some of the border die in Mango Melody add to the middle panel
and I also added some of the die cut pieces in Basic Gray
behind the flower which I had to pull off and stick it back on.
AND finally I was happy with my card.

I then added some of that border die on the inside of my card.

To create the flower I stamped the Lily with Versamark on Watercolour paper,

added clear embossing powder and Heat emboss.
Next I used Mango Melody Re-Inker to watercolour the flower with an aqua painter.
Next I added Night of Navy Re-inker to add some more colour to the flower.

So happy with this card, I do hope that I have done Monica's card justice <3

The card design was from Emma Goddard - Coastal Crafter in the UK
It was an online tutorial BUT I can't remember which group it was from.
