Bringing back my LOVE of Scrapbooking.

Welcome to 2018, Hope your New Year was one to remember.
I don't normally make New Years resolutions....
BUT
This year I did, I want to Bring Back my LOVE of Scrapbooking.

Today, I broke out some of the new products from Stampin' Up
in the new Occasions Catalogue.

Here is the challenge over at Scrapbooking Global,
using products similar to these pictured below.
Create a layout using up your Stampin' Up Stash

I used photos of my Darling Daughter's 21st photos,
which suited the Picture Perfect Suite on Pg 4 of the brand new
Occasions catalogue.
I took inspiration directly from the card with the candles to create my layout.

The 6 x 6 designer series paper pack has photographic images and festive party designs.
I cut out all the whistles from the paper and glued them around the edge of the layout.
In between the whistles I stamped lil crosses all the way around the border with the matching photopolymer stamp set.

Then I used the new Scrattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder which you run through the Bigshot to give you raised impressions on your cardstock.
Just a lil hint - lightly spritz your cardstock before running it through your impressions will be deeper when it is moist.

There is also photographed candles and paper ribbon on the papers.
They are so bright and colourful,
just devine.
I cut around them as well to create some dimension under my title.
I also added some of the new Berry Burst Metallic-Edge ribbon.

Using the Banner Punch I created some banners.
On the top banner I stamped and  heat embossed 'Happiest of Birthdays to you'
and I also did double stamping and heat embossing with silver embossing powder.

I am very happy with my layout, the 1st of 2018.
Here it is,  since photographing it I have added some sequins.
Thanks for visiting and please remember if you loved my layout please leave me some love below in the comments....Cheers Shaz

  1. This is such a fun, vibrant layout Sharon. I love the fussy cutting you have done. Oh and the border and shadow stamping on the sentiment. So glad you are back into it and enjoying it. Can't wait to see your next projects.
