ESAD 2019 Occasions and Sale-a-bration Blog Hop

Welcome to the 1st ESAD Blog Hop of 2019....
So excited to be here, along with 22 other talented Australian and New Zealand Demos.

We are all designing projects with products from the brand new
Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogues which went LIVE on Jan 3.
I created a Scrapbooking layout as my project...
The products that I am using are from the Occasions catalogue.
Perfect for my photos that you can see in the sneak peak.
You may have just hopped from Libby's Blog or just starting with me.
Hoping you are enjoying the creations on each of the blogs.

Firstly I cut up 5 double sided All My Love designer series paper into 2" strips.
Using the 1 5/8" Stitched Square Framelit I cut 5 from each piece
Found this graphic on Pinterest of all the sizes.
The link takes you to Sarah Wills blog

Then I printed my photographs and cut into 3 1/2" squares
Laid them out on my Whisper White 12 x 12 Cardstock...
I angled them on the page then I stuck them down with tear and tape
Aren't they cuties...

Next I laid down some of my stitched square frames until I was happy.
Me being me I had to rule lines and make sure it was STRAIGHT...
If you close one eye it will look straight LOL

I mounted the one with
LOTS of hearts DSP Stitched Square Framelits Dies
with Stampin' Up Dimensionals to make it POP!!!
Then I used Meant To Be CLING Stamp Set to add random hearts
between the All My Love DSP Stitched Squares.
Using Lovely Lipstick, Flirty Flamingo Ink Pads

Then I used Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies to cut out the heart with small floral image.
The heart wit the floral image was stamped in Crumb Cake that has been stamped off.
I  then coloured with Lovely Lipstick, Balmy Blue and Soft Sea Foam Ink
with a Aqua Painter, gives it a soft watercolour look.

This is how I layered my hearts together, as 1st heart is cut with the filigree look
and the 2nd and 3rd hearts are cut at the same time, stitching and cutting.
I cut a Lovely Lipstick layer as well as the Whisper White layer

I always like to add some colour to the edge of my cardstock,
Daubers are too big for some small sentiments.
So you have probably seen me show you my tip before.
I use a cotton tip with a small amount of ink on it and run this around the edge
to give it a bit of dimension against the background.

I think I should show you now, OK I am ready to share the finished layout.
(even though you probably scrolled past my ramblings)

I will be giving this layout away as a gift to the parents of these two girls.
Do you think the black frame is too BOLD for this layout. Should it be a white frame?

Up next is Rose Packer from Creative Roses here in Australia.
I am sure that she will have a beautiful creation.
If some how the NEXT link below doesn't work you can always yse the list below
to follow along the hop and see all the AMAZING projects.
Thank you for Hopping along with me.
