Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! Blog Hop - Nov 21st - Tic Tac Toe Board

Sneak Peak

Welcome to Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! Blog Hop - Nov 21st 2024
This month's theme is Tic Tac Toe Board.
Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! FB group consists of over 11,000 members.
Some of these are demonstrators from all over the world who all LOVE to scrapbook and document their everyday lifestyle for generations to enjoy in the future

We welcome anyone who wants to be inspired to join in the FUN of a Blog Hop.
We are trying to encourage EVERYONE to join in the HOP's every month.
BUT you don't have to have a blog to participate in these monthly challenges.
You can upload a photo of layout to the Album of the Month after 2pm AEST on Nov 21st.
You can JOIN Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! FB group here.

Sherry Roth is our Creative Design Team Member who designed this theme for us.
Sherry has the most classic style of creating Clean and Simple beautiful layouts, no matter the theme Sherry is a master at scrapbooking <3

So Tic Tac Toe Boards are a FUN way to incorporate a couple of different elements
on your scrapbooking layout to give yourself a challenge.

I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this month's challenge, I actually chose to do 2 of the
challenge lines and incorporate it into one layout...
Firstly I chose top to bottom on the left and then Diagonally from top right to bottom left.

I used the CTMH Scrapbooking Kit as my base of the layout...
Which was 2 pieces of torn Green DSP.
Then I splattered it with Basic Black Blends.

I added 3 photos this was when I decided that I could include twine as well and then I would have covered 2 lines from the Tic Tac Toe board.

I had the leftover strips from which I had torn off the side of the DSP so I decided to roll
them and add them to the layout... I couldn't get my string to sit how I wanted it to BUT it
is on the page none the less.

I double mounted the banner

These blooms were just so beautiful and I couldn't just use one colour
with the variety
of colours in Kirrily's dress.

Some more of the details of the rolled torn paper.
And last BUT not least the entire layout...these photos were from our Son's Wedding

Up Next Maz Wood this is her first time joining the hop, make sure you give her a shout out.

I hope that you enjoy all the different layouts that have been created today.

We will be back again NEXT Month on 19th  Dec with a challenge for you.

Colour INKspiration #177 - Winterly Treetops - Reverse Easel Card

Sneak Peak

Hello my name is Sharon Dalton, aka CreativeMe68,

I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator located in Gogango, Queensland.
I have my own studio - Studio Shabaz and I pretty much craft all day, everyday!!
I teach classes both in my Studio and at Early Birds Cafe Spencer Street Rockhampton.
I also teach private classes both in your home or local hall.

Welcome to Colour INKspiration Challenge #177, just such a gorgeous combination of colours <3
See photo inspiration here

Colour InKspiration #CI177 is a Christmas theme, BUT I thought instead of Christmas baubles that I would create something different.  So I drew inspiration from a card
that I created in July.

This card is a reverse easel card. Instead of the easel part sitting into the card it folds upwards.  AND the panel in the middle of the card sits against the layered front panel.

Cutting Instructions

Basic White Thick Cardstock - 8 1/4" x 5 7/8"
Scored at 4 1/8" and  6 3/4"

Blueberry Bushel Cardstock -  5 5/8" x 1 3/8" x  (2)
Blueberry Bushel Cardstock - 5 5/8"  x 1 1/4"
Blueberry Bushel Cardstock -  5 5/8" x 2 3/8"

Pretty Peacock Cardstock - 5 5/8" x 2 5/8" x (2)
Pretty Peacock Cardstock scraps for pine leaves

Basic White Cardstock scraps for Stylish Shapes Circle, Embossed with Birch 3D EF
Basic White Cardstock scrap for Stylish Shapes Banner - sentiment
Basic White Cardstock scrap - sentiment
Basic White Cardstock scrap - Bird and Wreath

Designer Series Paper - Winter Meadow - Blueberry Bushel
5 1/2" x 1 3/16"
5 1/2" x 1 1/8"

Designer Series Paper - Winter Meadow - Smoky Slate
5 1/2" x 2 9/16"

Designer Series Paper - Marbled Elegance - Melon Mambo
Stylish Shapes Banner  - 3 1/2" x 1 1/8" x (2)

Specialty Designer Series Paper - Gold Mercury Vellum
Stylish Shapes Circle - 3 1/4" x 3 1/4"

Classic Stampin' Pad - Gray Granite, Pretty Peacock

Stampin' Blends - Light Melon Mambo, Dark Gray Granite, Dark and Light Pretty Peacock
Dark and Light Crumb Cake, Dark and Light Blueberry Bushel, Light Lost Lagoon.
Stampin' Blends Colour Lifter.

Regal Foiled Adhesive Backed Dots

How I created the Pine leaves frame is by simply only die cutting on the Pretty Peacock
Cardstock so far in the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine then moving the die along the cardstock to extend the length of the frame.  Then by die cutting from
the other end and that way I can make the frame any size I like.

I am not much of a colouring expert, BUT after 3 failed attempts at different coloured birds
I resorted to sticking to one colour - Melon Mambo Blends with some darker patches.
I am ok to colour smaller sections that don't need a lot of defination like the tree branch and the leaves and blue berries.

This card still lays flat so that it can fit in a regular envelope.

Let's Craft Together - Christmas Colour Challenge

Thank you for joining us for this month’s Let’s Craft Together blog hop. We are a group of
multi-cultural Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in Australia who have developed a strong friendship though our love of stamping and our admiration of each other’s style of crafting.

Look at the Beautiful inspiration from Monique Fielder

Creating a fancy fold card with this colour palette was an easy task for me
as it has some of my favourite colours right there - Pretty Peacock and Moody Mauve.
This card is a quick slider card to reveal the hidden panel inside created by Ronda Wade.

Pairing two of the Christmas Stamp sets -
Hang An Ornament and Peaceful Season
that I have been using a lot from this catalogue allowed me to create a quick card
for an early Christmas celebration
and this card was just perfect for the occasion.

Keeping it simple and adding some BLING (Wink Of Stella) in all the right places

It is really hard for you to see all the Bling, BUT believe me it is there.
Cherry Cobbler Glimmer Paper on the Holly, Bauble as well as behind the Christmas word.
Wink of Stella on the Holly Leaves and splattered all over the card front

Each month, one of us takes turn to set a blog hop challenge,
where we share our creativity with others through our blog hops.
Be sure to hop along to them all, for lots of creative inspiration.
You may have joined me from
Monique Fielder
Make sure you keep hopping to see LOTS of amazing inspiration.

Colour INKspiration #176

Hello my name is Sharon Dalton, aka CreativeMe68,
I am an independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator located in Gogango.Queensland

Welcome to Colour INKspiration Challenge #176

How CUTE is the Robin, look at these BEAUTIFUL CRISP COLOURS.

I had a lot of FUN creating my card for this fortnight's colour challenge...

I can't remember the name of the fold BUT my FAVOURITE thing about this fold

is the see through window to create the illusion of depth of field.

I used Everyday Details Dies to cut out the window in Basic White Thick Cardstock
which die cuts the holes around the edge of the rectangle and then cut an inner rectangle with holes.

Using a window sheet to create the window, I then added some leaves to both inside
and out with the Granny Apple Green Festive Glimmer Paper and stamped leaves from Friends For Life in 1st and 2nd generation Granny Apple Green ink.

The next thing that I did was use the background stamp Sketched Plaid to create part
of the background inside the card.  I added ink directly to the stamp in a random pattern
so that it was patchy (not that you can see that)
Then I used the die cut rectangle and stamped some of the Sketched Butterflies
and a sentiment on this shape and adhered it over the Petunia Pop Plaid.

Next I heat embossed some black butterflies from Sketched Butterflies
and coloured very carefully in the heat embossed areas.  AS the embossing and the alcohol blends
with bleed.  Using both Light and Dark Petunia Pop Blends with a colour lifter to colour in.
I fussy cut out the butterflies and added some Wink of Stella to the wings.

Next I used Flowers of Beauty dies to cut out the 2 sizes of flowers that I scattered
among the leaves.  I filled the centres with Clear Rhinestones.
Then using my Petunia Pop Blends I splattered with the tip of the brush to my card.

Please WELCOME our newest member of the Creative Design Team Tina Parsons
who is a very avid scrapbooker and was a guest designer earlier this year.
Tina teaches scrapbooking classes.  I Love her creative style.

This month's theme would have to be one of the easiest I have done is a long while.
I chose to pick a layout that I saw on Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! group.
I LOVED the simplicity of the layout and I chose to adapt it by adding a few extra layers.
Where Hollie had used the tabs on her photos I decided to add pockets under my (2) 3" x 4"
photos. I do this by adding pockets behind the photo mats so that I can add hidden photos.

See here where I have pulled out the tabs these will be filled with photos
or hidden journalling.  These layouts are being created so that I can add photos to them later.

I have used the Simply Plaid embossing folder on the 2 tone cardstock that comes in this Scrapbooking Kit.
I have used a fine piece of sandpaper

You can see where they all sit under the photos in the middle.
This layout has been created using products from the Reindeer Days scrapbooking Kits.

Up next is Margaret.

I hope that you enjoy all the different layouts that have been created today.
We will be back again NEXT Month on 21st Nov with a challenge for you.

Crafty Collaborations Scrapbook Sunday - Christmas Day FUN - Reindeer Days Scrapbooking Kit

Sneak Peak

Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop,
Crafty Collaborations is a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from throughout
the world collaborating together and sharing their creative flair.

You may have joined me from Marga Bultena or
you may be starting here with me, Thank you for joining us this month.

I LOVE not having any theme or challenge for our Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop.

It allows me to choose EXACTLY what I want to create with, not having any boundries.
I hope that you have enjoyed all the layouts that we shared with you today.
We have so many talented scrapbookers among us Stampin' Up! Demos
don't you agree with the AMAZING layouts here.

I chose to use the leftovers from the Reindeer Days Scrapbooking Kit, I cut all the papers
according to Stampin' Up! Cutting Guides that come in the complete kit.
I reckon I would easily have enough to create at least another 2 layouts.
I am a gutter (cut away of all the extra layers of paper)
and this way it allows me to get more layers to use on other layouts.

These cutting guides make it so easy to follow for a beginner to avid crafter
OR those of you who are just starting out into Scrapbooking.
Just think of Scrapbooking as a bigger version of a card.

I found this sketch on Pinterest so that is what I based my layout on.

I chose to use some of the elements from A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper
and Reindeer Days Memories and More Card Pack to add to this layout.
Also I die cut Baby Eloise out of Basic White Cardstock with the Mini Alphabet Dies.
AND retired Gold Thread for the bows on the stockings.

Follow the rest of the participants by clicking on the list below.

Glad that you could HOP along with us today following the
Crafty Collaborations Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop.

Up Next is Donna

I want to say a HUGE THANKS to you who visit my blog and comment it really means a lot to me.  I really do appreciate you leaving me some Lovin' in the form of a comment.
