Hello everyone, it's August Summer Blog Hop
I cannot believe how fast these months are flying by....
You may have just joined the hop with me or come from Kris's blog.
This month I chose Tropical Chic Stamp Set to create my layout.
I actually don't own this set, BUT my SIL does...it was a set that I didn't think I needed.
How wrong could I have been!!!
I couldn't decide which background mat for my photo, so I always take a photo
to see which one I like the most...in this case it was the leaves.
I continued the leaf theme over the edge of the photo
by cutting lots of leaves from stamped images, leaf designs straight out of cardstock and vellum. The stamped floral images were Flirty Flamingo these were also cut
with the matching Tropical Thinlits Dies.
I stamped Pacific Point onto Pool Party cardstock to create the blue background.
The Blushing Bride panels were created using the
Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
These photos were taken at one of our favourite beaches in Bowen QLD
when my daughter first started dating her now husband.
He does not like photos, BUT my daughter loves having her photos taken.
So this is the first of many photo shoot near the ocean for these pair.
I love these photos of my daughter Kirrily n Adam.
They love the ocean!!!
I think this set is perfect for these photos.
Up next is Tricia Butts....
I love how you used the leaves to frame your photo. Great page and fun use of the stamp set and versatility.
