So today we are showcasing the Stampin' Up! Colour Revamp
with a mixture of black and white....in our own unique styles.
The best thing about the colour revamp is that we have so many beautiful colours
to choose from in Stampin' Up! colour palette.I do like to keep photos the emphasis of my scrapbooking style.
Such a pretty colour palette - Lovely Lipstick, Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover,
Grapefruit Grove and Pineapple Punch.
I water coloured my background with the inks using an Aqua painter.
More or less water with the ink created the variance in colour.
Try to saturate your background cardstock with too much moisture as it buckles
Then I added a variety of random stamps with black ink over different parts of the layout.
In the circular stamped area, I used a straw to add colour using re-inkers.
Then I added the same colour stamped image on the water coloured sections.
I kept stamping until I was happy with the background.
Then I grabbed some more ink on my aqua painter and tapped the edge of it
and flicked ink all over my background with all 5 colours.
I didn't want the photos to fade into the background so I framed them with more stamping.
Next I cut my title out with the new Layering Alphabet Edgelits with the same 5 InColors..
BUT that looked terrible!!! Too big!!! Just wrong!!!
So I continued with the watercolour theme of this layout.
Stamped OnStage down the bottom and water coloured it carefully.
Lastly I added the words to my background...
Friends, Fun & Fabulous
These ladies are fellow demonstrators who have I met through Stampin' Up! events,
I had the best time with these girls, we had so much fun together in Sydney.
I have been memory keeping since I was a child,
cutting out pictures from magazines covering my school books.
BUT in 2002 I was introduced to Scrapbooking and I was hooked immediately...
I loved the idea of creating beautiful pages of our family
and friends to relive the memories.
Scrapbooking has became an OBSESSION for me!!!
Thank you for hopping along with us, looking forward to you becoming obsessed too!
Up next is the very talented Stesha Bloodhart with her Colour Revamp Layout.
I am wondering if Stesha has done any fussy cutting on her layout as I know she loves to fussy cut around DSP.
