Ink & Share Blog Hop - Goodbye

Welcome to Ink and Share Scrapbook Blog Hop, this month we are bidding
a farewell to our favourite retiring products...
Well I am combining two challenges...from Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up!
I am using Jar of Love Stamp Set and InColor 2019-2018 and Gold Thread.
I am most sad about the Lemon Lime Twist colour & Gold Thread

You may have just joined me from  Lisa Henderson blog where I am sure
she has created something AMAZING
There are 13 including myself today who are sharing projects with you.
I am using a few other products that retired previously too...
Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper, Sharing Sweet Thoughts Stamp Set

My first plan was to use those papers and 2017-2018 Cardstock to create a background
Then I ran it through the Petal Burst Embossing Folder.

I next used the dies from Everyday Jars Framelits and cut out the lids of the jars
and ran them through the folder too

Next I used Staz On ink on vellum to create the jars and cut them out with the dies.
Once I had the essential components of the layout together I started cutting and pasting.

I am really happy with this layout...considering I did it at 8pm last night
and then got struck down with another vomiting bug...
Sucks when your immune system is compromised...

Here is the completed layout...

Up next is Shirley with her adorable layout <3

Scrapbooking Global May Blog Hop - Masculine

Welcome to Scrapbooking Global May Blog Hop, there is 2o talented
Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world joining us today.
You may have just joined me from Sara Levin's Blog or starting with me.

We have a Creative Design Team which includes
Delys Cram from New Zealand
Sara Levin from USA
Danielle Bennenk from The Netherlands
Cynthia McQueen from USA
and lastly us 2 Aussies Courtney Heuston and myself.

AS WELL WE ONE OF OUR GUEST DESIGNERS
T
oday Denise Cox who is April's Guest Designer
It's her turn to SHINE - I have seen her design you will be blown away!!
So creative is this layout that I may very well CASE it...
Denise has chosen this wonderful theme for today's hop - Masculine

If you haven't heard of Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up!
it is a Facebook group which I created in Jan 2017.
It is a group which I created for us SCRAPBOOKERS who use Stampin' Up! products.
We have over 5000 members and we are growing everyday!!
Join us over there for all the inspiration that Stampin' Up! products allow us to create.
So many inspiring creations from all over the world.

I may only be speaking for myself BUT I tend to do more female orientated
Scrapbooking layouts so the men in my life (as much as I love them)
I tend to forget to scrap them as I find Masculine layouts difficult.

So I decided to use another suite from the current occasion catalogue.

Best Route - DSP, Best Route Memories and More Cards this product is retiring
and I for one can tell you that I will be sad about that!!!
Perfect for the Men in our lives.
Even though these Best Route Memories and More cards are usually used in our
Photo Pocket Pages for our standard Black Leather 12x12 Album or the 6 x 8 Album.

I tend to use them on my traditional scrapbooking pages,
I cut them up and use bit and pieces of the cards on my page...
Here I have cut the lil orange location indicator out of the 'we were here' card
added another layer of the blue that I have used behind the photo to create depth.
The Best Day Ever tag I trimmed and added behind the photo to use
as a
journal tag to add all the details from the special day!!!

All the little elements make a layout easy to create.
Firstly I actually started with the
Gallery Grunge Stamp set that I am pleased to say
is carrying over to the new catalogue which is released on June 4.
Gallery Grunge has 4 distinct patterns that are perfect for male layouts.
I used the wood grain stamp as I felt that it complimented the photos I chose.

I stamped the pattern down the middle of my
Whisper White 12 x 12 Cardstock with Night of Navy Classic Stampin' Pad

Then I added some splatters with a watery mix of Night of Navy on my Aqua Painter.
Next I used my Stampin' Write Basic Black Marker to splatter some ink on the page.
Next I added some more of the Gallery Grunge Stamp in Basic Gray Classic Stampin' Pad
to other places on the layout.

This is a trick that Shelli Gardner the Co-founder and CEO of Stampin' Up!
was up on stage demonstrating
showed us with the brush tip of the marker
by dragging it out of the inside of the lid with a flick it leaves splatters on your project.
It is a very cool technique....INSERT VIDEO if I find it

So once I had all my elements of the layout ready I just started placing it on the page.

Here is the complete layout, I do hope you like it!!!

Most of you may remember that I am always cutting the backs out of my layouts
so that I don't waste all this beautiful DSP behind the layout...

I felt the layout was lacking something without the blue pattern DSP behind it.
So I trimmed down 2 sides of my layout so that I would get an
even border around all for sides.
So this is what the back of my layout looks like, when you pop it in the album you can't
tell that it is cut away like this.
That arrowed tag is the back of the The Best Day Ever tag
which I have journalled personal details of the Wedding Day.
I just cut a very fine slice right behind the photo and slipped it in.

Up next is my fellow Creative Design Team Member Delys Cram
She is such a talented scrapbooker I cannot wait to see what she has designed
for the Masculine Blog Hop. I am surely POSITIVE it will be AMAZING!!!

Kelly's Stamping Friends Birthday Blog Hop

Welcome to Kelly Kent's Birthday Blog Hop
We are all wishing Kelly Happy Birthday Wishes early for her Birthday tomorrow...
There are 24 of us here who have created something very special to celebrate Birthdays.
I am sure that you will all be AMAZED by the talent here today...

You are starting here with me....Shaz.
Kelly is probably expecting me to create a Scrapbooking Layout to celebrate her theme.
AND of course I DID do a layout... One with Cupcakes and Lollies
Birthday Wishes for my 1 year old Cousins daughter Hannah who I babysit every week.
OR you may have just joined me from Sandra Collett
blog, her project was COOL!!

I am using a variety of products from How Sweet It Is SUITE in the Occasions Catalogue.
I did start this layout last night at my scrapbooking classes BUT I hadn't
printed any of my photos yet!  AND OF COURSE I ran out of ink (hence the crappy photos)
That will teach me for leaving everything to the last minute...
AND I live 65klms from the nearest town, so no chance of racing out to the print them :(

Here is is how the layout started...I of course searched Pinterest for inspiration

I would love to give credit for the inspiration BUT there was no name or link attached. Here is what I took from the above photo and gave it my lil tweak.

This is how the whole layout started...
It is funny how you can be inspired by a few lil sweet treats.

Using Sweetest Thing Stamp Set, How Sweet It is DSP, matching cardstock
the Ribbon and Sweet Pins and Tags to create this layout made it so easy.
Especially because it has Jar of Sweets Framelits Dies to cut out all the elements
from the designs on the DSP.

I used the Stamparatus to stamp the Happy Birthday down the side
of the Coastal Cabana cardstock with Bermuda Bay Classic Stampin' Pad
using the hinged stamping technique.
Check out this Stampin' Up! video for all the wonderful things you can do with it

I used the ribbon behind the tag as well as under the words between the cupcakes
Stamped - Make it a SWEET celebration it with Melon Mambo Classic Stampin' Pad

I used the retired Large Number Framelits Dies to cut the 1 out of the DSP
Here is the completed layout....Sorry bout the crap photos.
See below for the real photos so I cannot wait to print them again tomorrow.

Up next is Denise Buetler, who I had the pleasure of meeting at OnStage in Auckland.
So lovely to meet someone whom I blog with on lots of different groups...
I cannot wait to see what Denise has designed.

Click on the next button to see her designs and there is a

Stamp n Hop Goodbye 2018-2019 Catalogue

Welcome to Stamp 'N' Hop May Blog Hop where we are saying Goodbye
to our favourite products of the Annual 2018-2019 Catalogue.
You may have just joined me from Tracey blog where I am sure that she has created something that will have you reaching for the SHOP button to buy these supplies.

As I am a Scrapbooker as my first love of all things paper, I searched the catalogue
to see what I would miss the most.... AND I think I have used it so much last year
BUT I had to use it again before it retires to show you how BEAUTIFUL it is!!!

The Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Speciality Paper is one of my fav's of the catty.
So I paired it together with the Delightfully Detailed Memories and More Card Pack.
AND all the matching products...

I was actually time poor which seems to be the story of my life atm...
Sooo Thanks to the Creative Design Team at Stampin' Up!
I cased my layout directly from the catalogue... see page 38...
With a few tweaks of my own!!!

We Create In Color 2018-2020 Blog Hop

Welcome to We Create Blog Hop, Today 10 of us are showcasing
InColor 2018-2020 from the 2018 Catalogue...

These colours are carried over into the NEW catalogue which is released on June 4th.
You may have just left Kris Kilkenny's Blog I cannot wait to see what she has done with the Barn Door and these 5 colours OR you have just started the Hop with me...

I originally made my projects for OnStage Swaps and
I was going to make a new project for this hop...

So I had started this project, still using my original swap idea...
I had created the words for my album last year, BUT still hadn't finished it!!!
See above the Blog Hop title.

Here is the start of my Scrapbooking layout...
BUT a nasty virus struck me down and I had to abort that project.
So check back here some time in the future and I may actually have a link to this page.

I created 60 Swaps for OnStage Auckland, using the Swirly Frames Stamp Set
Carolina Evans had done this at Sydney OnStage for her scrapbooking layout
on the Display board.  Soo cool!

12 of each of the 5 InColors, I thought I was creating an easy swap
until I started cutting out all the pieces
Then it dawned on my that I was crazy for doing this swap.
Lots and Lots of cutting!!!

I even roped my husband into helping me on the last few days
before I flew to New Zealand to help me finish the swaps

Here are the finished Swaps for Auckland OnStage

Upclose view of each colour

Hope you liked my project using the Swirly Frames and InColor 2018-2020 Colours

I did create this layout for our Scrapbooking Class this Monday night using
the same stamp set and circles.

Up next is Tricia with her version of this colour palette.

Thank you for following the Blog Hop, please continue on by clicking the NEXT button.
