ESAD 2017/18 Annual Catalogue Sneak Peek Blog Hop

So exciting BUT so nerve-wracking at the same time to be a part of my very first ESAD (Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators) Blog Hop.
Fellow ESAD members have created 26 various projects
as a Sneak Peak
into the new catalogue which launches on June 1.

I made an Explosion Card -
Sounds technical BUT it isn't, it is actually very easy.
Just a few folds really

Using 8 inch square of Whisper White Cardstock, Stamp you sentiment in the middle.
Stamp the rest of this square with matching stamp set. I used Lovely Friends 143763.
Then fold your 8" square according to these Explosion Fold Card template found on Splitcoaststampers and stick to the inside of your card base.
I used Lovely Laurel Thinlits 143731 for the die cut flower and leaves on the front.
Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper 144131,  In Color Powder Pink Cardstock 144251, Whisper White Cardstock 106549 and my card base is the new In Color Tranquil Tide Cardstock 144252. I used a Glitter Enamel Dot 144200
inside the die cut flower.

This Lovely Friends Stamp Set (23) comes in photopolymer which is a two step and co-ordinates with Lovely Laurel Thinlits Dies. It has the loveliest sentiments and the font is a script just to die for. With 23 individual stamps in this set you will be able to create so many beautiful cards and/or scrapbooking pages to compliment any photograph.

Please continue to hop to the next participant, the very talented -  Kim Oliver
who will show you some more beautiful projects. If you happen to miss anyone's blog there is a list below to find out what order to catch up.

Selfie - Stampin' Up Scrapbooking Global Challenge

Hello everyone

Another day, another challenge...over at Stampin' Up Scrapbooking Global
Black & White Selfie by Anne Heather

I turned this one on it's head....I didn't have black cardstock so I used white and added all black stamped images and titles as well as embossed background for my photo.

Some people are not so confident in taking SELFIES, Yep that is me too!!! This is an old photo of me taken on my way to Keith Urban concert.being a big girl,  I never feel sexy BUT here I do!!!
Once again I used product that is retiring from our current catalogue, so many beautiful products leaving us.
BUT we have equally gorgeous sets to fill the void when the new catalogue launches on June 1....

Retiring products I used were Grateful Bunch Stamp set 140691 and Lovely Lace embossing folder 133737. You may still be able to purchase these.
HURRY while stocks last, click on the 'shop online' button
it will take you to my store where you will find all the specials.

Also I used Letters for You Stamp Set 141968 n Brushwork Alphabet  141772 which are carrying over into the new catalogue as these create such beautiful titles.

If you are looking for a Scrapbooking group, where you will be inspired to use your Stampin' Up products be sure to check out Stampin' Up Scrapbooking Global.

Every week one of our talented Admin team from all over the world set a challenge,
you can find all the previous challenges under "files". There is no timeline for the challenges, just in your own sweet time. Whenever the inclination or inspiration strikes!!! Send your request to join the fun...

Tonight at 6pm I will be taking part in my very first Blog Hop

Saying Goodbye is never easy....so many products retiring..

When a new catalogue is about to be released, some products have to retire.
Love & Affection is one such suite that I will be sad to say goodbye to.
Also In Color 2015-2017 Ink -Watermelon Wonder :(
So today I created a layout for Stampin' Up Scrapbooking Global  for my challenge...Scrapbook Bingo - Choose 4 items to use on your layout.

I chose to use SU Designer Series Paper - Affectionately Yours, matching SU Washi Tape, SU Floral Affection Embossing Folder,
SU Flower Medallion Punch and SU In Colors 2015-2017 on my layout.

I fussy cut the flowers from the Love & Affection Stamp set, then I punched the Flower Medallion out of the same paper just the reverse side and scrunched them up
to give them a bit of shape and popped them up with dimensionals.
The yellow centres are from Regals Enamel Shapes.

I cut Stitched Framelits Oval out of  Mint Macaron cardstock and embossed the with SU Floral Affection Embossing Folder, coloured the embossing lightly with a dauber.
The sentiment is from the Love & Affection set too.

Also used 12x12 sheet of In Color DSP Stack - 2015-2017 and a piece of Affectionately Yours DSP in my favourite colour Watermelon Wonder with matching SU Washi Tape to frame my photo.

Please pop over to Stampin' Up Scrapbooking Global, ask to join the fun.
The group was set up as we felt like there was a need for Stampin' Up Scrapbooking community where we could be challenged to use our products
in our scrapbooking rather than just for card making.
So we started it on Jan 13 and we now have over 1000 members.
Every week a challenge is set by one of the 7 Admin members from all over the world USA, France, Canada, Australia

I have another post scheduled for Sunday with an exploding card to showcase some of the AMAZING new products from 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue. It is my first time being involved in a Blog Hop....

Until then
Cheers Shaz

New Blog..Studio Shabaz - CreativeMe68

Welcome to my new blog here's to New Beginnings <3
Studio Shabaz is my lil piece of heaven, my place to retreat and play with all things paper and ink
I have been a scrapbooker since about 2002, most who know me knew me as CreativeMe68.
I LOVE scrapbooking and now have began a love with cardmaking too. Since joining Stampin' Up in 2013 I hadn't really thought of it as a business until the last two Stampin' Up OnStage events that I attended on the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Very excited about the possibilities and the wonderful friends who I have made and met through Stampin' Up.
ALSO exciting my new team Ink'n Up was formed with 6 members all joining between January and March 2017 during this years Sale-A-Bration all of my class attendees have become my team members...So excited by this we are all working towards going to OnStage at the end of the year together.

I have started holding card classes/ scrapbooking workshops.

I have started a couple of FB pages and groups (see the side bar). Which I have created some scrapbooking pages for challenges over at Stampin' Up Scrapbooking Global.

Very excited about the new catalogue that launches on June 1, if you would like a copy simply email me at shazcreativeme68@gmail.com or like my Facebook page
