Colour INKspiration #CI25

Welcome to the first challenge at Colour INKspiration for 2018.  #CI25
Night of Navy, Lemon Lime Twist and Whisper White.

As soon as I saw this combo I knew that I had to use these colours to create some cards.
I need 2 baby cards, so I scrolled through Pinterest and found some inspiration using the stamp set A Little Wild. There I found 2 cards with these stamps.

Lorin Goodchild and Kelly Kent click on their names and it links back to the original post.

As well as this wonderful colour combination I could not go past using my favourite DSP's from the Annual Catalogue. Naturally Eclectic & Delightful Daisy for a perfect match.
AND A Little Wild Stamp Set.

I adapted my card from Lorin's original, by using Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies instead of circular shapes....Here is mine, I also decorate the envelope as well as the inside too.

So I had to make Kelly's card, as it was PERFECT for my friend who is having a baby shower next weekend and the nursery is decorated in an elephant theme....
This time I stamped the images on DSP and Cardstock and then ran them through the
Big Shot to cut them out...So lucky that this stamp set has matching Little Loves Framelits Dies. Once again I decorated the envelope.
Sometimes all you need is a lil inspiration, be sure to check out Colour INKspiration Challenges if you are stuck in a rutt, your mojo is out the window or you just want to be challenged.
Thanks for popping in, please be sure to leave me some lovely comments about my cards.
Cheers Shaz xoxo

Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - Love Theme

Hello once again everyone...Hope 2018 is treating you well.
So happy to be back with this lovely group of talented artists featuring in this

Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - Love Theme
It can cover any of the following
Valentines, Wedding, Anniversary etc

You might be starting the Hop with me or
you could have joined me from
USA's talented  Jenny Hall's
blog

When you need a card quickly you can use the very versatile
Memories and More Card Pack (pg 24) of the Occasions catalogue.
I decided to make an easy card using both the front and back of
one of the double sided cards from this pack of 52.

I cut the 'always on my mind' out of the centre of the card,
then flipped it over and used the floral as the card front of my card.
I stuck the 'always on my mind' onto a piece of black cardstock.

Next I decided it needed some texture, this suite comes
with matching Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folders

I used the floral one which I run through the Big Shot on Powder Pink cardstock
to use behind my words, it just give a subtle amount of texture.

Now back to the Memories and More Petal Passion Card Pack
there was one with the two birds together so I cut them out
to add to my card. I used 3 differing sized hearts as embellishments

As well as the cards in this pack there are several
accent sheets, sticker sheets and acetate card overlays.

So you can easily whip up several cards needing only the very basics
Cardstock, ink and glue.
See Pg 22 of the Occasions catalogue for these wonderful samples

This card, I felt was a bit lack lustre so I used the
Petals & More Thinlits Dies to add some bling to it.
Using the long die at the top, I cut it out of Silver Glimmer Paper using the Big Shot.
It is a lil bit tricky, you may need to add an extra layer of scrap paper to make sure it cuts through all the holes in the die.

Once I had added this to under the birds I felt like it was almost finished,
BUT of course I just had to add one more thing.
A bow tied from the Whisper White 1.4" Organza Ribbon.

Thank you once again for following the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop,
Up next is Angel Shaver from USA.
Please leave me some love by leaving me a comment below.

on their blogs.

You may be starting with me, or you have just come from Amity Knight's blog

I am so excited as this is my first blog hop of the New Year,
can you believe it is already half way through January 2018.
This year I have made a commitment to myself to Scrapbook the year away.
So 3 already since I have been back from holidays. Got to be happy with that.
I am using 2 new products that Stampin' Up have released
with the new Occasions catalogue.
Petal Passion Memories and More Card Pack and Brusho.....
OHHH you are going to just LOVE it!!!

Using Petal Passion DSP cut our required flowers, wet the background
then lightly spritz with water and sprinkle with desired Brusho colour.
I have used Brilliant Red and Gamboge (Orange).
Adding more spritzed water to make the products bleed into eachother.

whoops sorry one photo is the wrong way up

To create the layout I used one of the Accent Sheets and Acetate Overlays
I wanted to scrap some of the photos from OnStage 17
on the Gold Coast with my team Ink'n Up

I also used one of the Cardstock sticker sheets which I coloured with Brusho

I did this like this....in the residue

BUT I felt like it needed some more colour so I sprinkled some Brilliant Red on it

Soooo are you EXCITED about this product yet???
If so that you can also colour your die cuts to match.

OK I am finished teasing you now, here is the layout.

Here is another layout that I created this week using Brusho again.
I used Brusho sprinkled directly on my Mat and used a Aqua Pen to colour my flowers.

Up next is Lou Kitzleman, I am sure she will have something that will blow your mind.

Bringing back my LOVE of Scrapbooking.

Welcome to 2018, Hope your New Year was one to remember.
I don't normally make New Years resolutions....
BUT
This year I did, I want to Bring Back my LOVE of Scrapbooking.

Today, I broke out some of the new products from Stampin' Up
in the new Occasions Catalogue.

Here is the challenge over at Scrapbooking Global,
using products similar to these pictured below.
Create a layout using up your Stampin' Up Stash

I used photos of my Darling Daughter's 21st photos,
which suited the Picture Perfect Suite on Pg 4 of the brand new
Occasions catalogue.
I took inspiration directly from the card with the candles to create my layout.

The 6 x 6 designer series paper pack has photographic images and festive party designs.
I cut out all the whistles from the paper and glued them around the edge of the layout.
In between the whistles I stamped lil crosses all the way around the border with the matching photopolymer stamp set.

Then I used the new Scrattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder which you run through the Bigshot to give you raised impressions on your cardstock.
Just a lil hint - lightly spritz your cardstock before running it through your impressions will be deeper when it is moist.

There is also photographed candles and paper ribbon on the papers.
They are so bright and colourful,
just devine.
I cut around them as well to create some dimension under my title.
I also added some of the new Berry Burst Metallic-Edge ribbon.

Using the Banner Punch I created some banners.
On the top banner I stamped and  heat embossed 'Happiest of Birthdays to you'
and I also did double stamping and heat embossing with silver embossing powder.

I am very happy with my layout, the 1st of 2018.
Here it is,  since photographing it I have added some sequins.
Thanks for visiting and please remember if you loved my layout please leave me some love below in the comments....Cheers Shaz
