Scrapbooking Global June 2018 Blog Hop

Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up was created by myself and
a group of Demonstrators on 13th Jan 2017.
We recognised a need for an exclusive group for Scrapbookers and
Memory Keepers who used Stampin' Up! products.
This group now has 3,300 plus members.

Just recently a call was put out on Facebook for a Creative Design Team
to introduce regular Challenges and Blog Hops for members
and the wider Facebook community on a monthly basis.
I am very excited to announce the Creative Design Team <3
Delys Cram - New Zealand,  Courtenay Heuston - Australia,  Sara Levin - USA,
Danielle Bennenk - The Netherlands,
Stesha Bloodhart - USA,

and myself Sharon Dalton - Australia

Welcome to the inaugural Scrapbooking Global Design Team Blog Hop.
You may have just joined me from Sara levin's blog.
Sara would have created something truly AMAZING I am sure <3

So today we are showcasing the Stampin' Up! Colour Revamp
with a mixture of black and white....in our own unique styles.
The best thing about the colour revamp is that we have so many beautiful colours
to choose from in Stampin' Up! colour palette.
I do like to keep photos the emphasis of my scrapbooking style.

I chose to use the BRAND NEW InColors that will be here for the next 2 years.
Such a pretty colour palette - Lovely Lipstick, Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover,
Grapefruit Grove and Pineapple Punch.

I water coloured my background with the inks using an Aqua painter.
More or less water with the ink created the variance in colour.
Try to saturate your background cardstock with too much moisture as it buckles

Then I added a variety of random stamps with black ink over different parts of the layout.
In the circular stamped area, I used a straw to add colour using re-inkers.
Then I added the same colour stamped image on the water coloured sections.

I kept stamping until I was happy with the background.
Then I grabbed some more ink on my aqua painter and tapped the edge of it
and flicked ink all over my background with all 5 colours.
I didn't want the photos to fade into the background so I framed them with more stamping.

Next I cut my title out with the new Layering Alphabet Edgelits with the same 5 InColors..
BUT that looked terrible!!!  Too big!!! Just wrong!!!

So I continued with the watercolour theme of this layout.
Stamped OnStage down the bottom and water coloured it carefully.
Lastly I added the words to my background...
Friends, Fun & Fabulous
These ladies are fellow demonstrators who have I met
through Stampin' Up! events,
I had the best time with these
girls, we had so much fun together in Sydney.
I have been memory keeping since I was a child,
cutting out pictures from magazines covering my school books.
BUT in 2002 I was introduced to Scrapbooking and I was hooked immediately...
I loved the idea of creating beautiful pages of our family
and friends to relive the memories.
Scrapbooking has became an OBSESSION for me!!!
Thank you for hopping along with us, looking forward to you becoming obsessed too!

Up next is the very talented Stesha Bloodhart with her Colour Revamp Layout.
I am wondering if Stesha has done any fussy cutting on her layout as I know she loves to fussy cut around DSP.

Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop June Sketch

Welcome to Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop, June is a Sketch Challenge.
Speaking of June can you believe we are half way through the year already!!!
Today there are 10 talented scrapbookers for you to hop by their blogs
and see their AMAZING creations...So much talent here!!!

You may have just left Valerie Perlin (France) to hop onto my blog...
I cannot wait to see her design for this sketch.

I used the program from OnStage Sydney April 18
on my layout so it is a lil bit different in design...
I used Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper as my block colour
behind the photos, yes I added 2 photos instead of where the journal panel was.
When I get the rest of the photos from my team I will add them under the program.

I also wanted to use the new Stitched Labels Framelits Dies,
so I actually used it to cut a smaller photo of myself out with the die.
I know that I will be using these dies quite often as they are so beautiful.
Don't you agree?

I also used Delightfully Detailed Memories & More card pack
which has 50 double sided cards with lots of different quotes and sayings.

For my journalling tag I used one of the cards that said 'My Kind Of Day'
which I cut out with another Stitched Labels Framelits Dies

It also has 4 different sticker sheets which you can see I have used
'Every Moment Matters' as part of my title.
I cut away the excess that was left on the sticker sheet to use on
the card that says ' You Make Me Smile'

I added some Faceted Dots to the layout which are in the colours of
Mint Macaron, Grapefruit Grove, Blackberry Bliss and Black

Sorry the quality is so poor, it is a very overcast day here today
(will update photos as soon as I can)

I was so excited to meet Sara Douglas CEO Stampin' Up!
Sara was so lovely and down to earth. She made me smile, laugh and cry
throughout the day.  I am an emotional person like her, I cry at the drop of a hat.
She made me feel so comfortable as if I had known her for ever.
My team mate and I both got photos with her, BUT she hasn't sent them to me yet!

I found the 30th Annniversary Logo on the demo site and I printed it on
Whisper White Cardstock to cut out some more of the flowers that were on
the program that was on the table at OnStage.
So Pretty wished I could work out which stamp set they are from.

Up next is Jess Brown, please click on the next blog button and you can follow the rest of the hop to see all the creations...

ESAD 2018 Annual Catalogue Launch

Welcome to ESAD's 2018 Annual Catalogue Launch Blog Hop,
ESAD is a group of Australian and New Zealand Independent Stampin' Up Demonstrators.

There are 27 of us  sharing their favorites of this Catalogue.
Sooo many new products and returning products!!!

You may be starting with me or have joined me from Peta Stephen's blog
Peta is very creative so I can only imagine what she created was AWESOME
OMG!!! This catalogue is jam packed full of yummy creative goodness <3
It was hard for me to decide what I wanted to showcase from this catalogue.
So I decided that I would SHARE WHAT I LOVE Suite.

A couple of weeks ago I travelled over 1600klms in a weekend
to go to our team day at Sutton's Beach with some of the
INKcredibles - hosted by Kim Gavarra.

Kim and her team of INKcredible designers designed this sampler...
Beautiful isn't it???  Kim brought the frame from Kmart for $6 or $8

So I thought that I had already created I would share how you could recreate
it to display in your very own studio....Just like me

7 x 2" Whisper White Stitched Square shape
3 x 2" Share What You Love DSP

1 x 4 1/2" x 2 1/8" Whisper White Rectangle
I created my rectangle stitched framelit with my squares, by not cutting all the way to the middle...then cutting another square and put over the top. You cover this with the
Oval Share What We Love sentiment.

1 x 4 5/16" x 2" Share What You Love DSP
1 x Whisper White Largest Oval Stitched Framelit shape
1 x 2" Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
1 x 7 1/4" Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
1 x 8" Mint Macaron Cardstock
I added another border to fit my shadow box that I purchased from Reject Shop for $7
1 x 8 3/4" Grapefruit Grove Cardstock
Scraps of Floral Share What You Love DSP for small floral accents.

Decorating Accents

1 x Pearlised Doiles
3 x Share What You Love Artisan Pearls
1 x 8 1/2" piece of Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon
1 x Silver Paper Clips from Share What You Love Embellishment Kit
Lovely Floral Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
Love What You Do Stamp Set
Black Momento Pad
Craft Stampin' Pad
Rich Razzleberry Classic Stampin Pad
Grapefruit Grove Classic Stampin Pad
Grapefruit Grove & Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers
Dauber
Paper Snips
Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Stampin' Dimensionals
Tear & Tape Adhesive

Assembly of the Sampler
Adhere 3 x 2" DSP to Stitched Square shapes.
I just added the DSP to the top RHS shape
I added floral accent to LHS of top shape,
I added dimensionals to the back of this one.
I added the ribbon to the paper clip on bottom LHS DSP shape,
I added dimensionals to the back of this one.

Stamp 'It's A Beautiful Day'  to the middle of Stitched Square shape,
fussy cut some floral accents add them with dimensionals

Stamp 'Love What You Do' to the bottom RHS of Stitched Square shape,
Using the 2nd largest floral image colour the petals
with Grapefruit Grove Stampin' Write Markers
and the leaves with Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers and stamp beside
'Love What You Do'

Stamp largest flower from set in Rich Razzleberry to middle of  Stitched Square shape,
fill in the flower with smallest solid image, then stamp smallest flower randomly.
If you want a colour in the background behind the flower, you can just colour your
block with Grapefruit Grove Stampin' Write Markers and stamp over the top.
I added dimensionals to the back of this one to pop it up.

Emboss the corner of Rich Razzleberry piece inside the Lovely Floral Textured
Impressions Embossing Folder, then add white ink to
a dauber.
Lightly colour the raised image with dauber

I stamped the SPECIAL OFFER 'Share What We Love' stamp on to the
Largest Oval Stitched shape with Rich Razzleberry Classic Stampin' Pad...
(if you did not buy this stamp set you could swap that sentiment for anything)
I added Velvet Ribbon to the middle of
4 5/16" x 2" Share What You Love DSP
I cut my Pearlised Doily added to each end of oval shape, added dimensionals
stuck that over my ribbon.
Then I adhered that to the
4 1/2" x 2 1/8" Whisper White Rectangle.

Add your Artisan Pearls to your desired squares.

Adhere all 7 squares and rectangle evenly on
7 1/4" Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
Mat Rich Razzleberry onto
8" Mint Macaron Cardstock

If you need a third Mat adhere Mint Macaron to
Grapefruit Grove Cardstock.

Here it is sitting in the Shadow Box in my Studio Shabaz
