We’d love it if you join us each month! We usually hop the 3rd Thurs of the Month.

Today it is my turn to show you my choice of theme.. Naughty and Nice.
I am creating a layout for my cousin's family for Christmas
So there is a lot more NICE than Naughty in this layout.

Whether you are a beginner Scrapbooker or a Long term Scrapbooker,
we welcome you to create a Scrap layout with Stampin' Up! products and share your project.

You may have started the Blog Hop with me or joined me from Rae Jean Communal Blog, either way you are in for a treat with lots of Christmas spirit.
I created a very simply layout with torn strips of RETIRED DSP.
As I didn't own any of the Gingerbread and Peppermint 6x6 which would
have looked AMAZING with these photos.
One of my team die cut me some stars and stamped me You're The Icing on my gingerbread.

I really wanted to photos to show you who was Naughty and Nice LOL.
We recently had these photos taken so they fit the theme PERFECTLY.

I used the What's Cookin' Bundle for all the bowls and utensils.
I stamped the images with Cinnamon Cider and Real Red on Basic White Cardstock.
And then used the dies to cut out all the stamped images with
the
Stamp N Cut and Emboss machine.
I used some Real Red Double Stitched Satin Ribbon the handles of the utensils.

For the borders I used the Basic Borders die on the Stamp N Cut and Emboss again
on the RETIRED DSP.

Naughty and Nice were cut from Cinnamon Cider cardstock
with the Playful Alphabet dies.
I coloured the tops of the letters with Stampin' Chalk Marker...

Finished off the layout by simply adding some Metallic Pearls on top of the
Gingerbread Stars.

Lets see what Julia has created this month, she always pulls a rabbit out of her hat.
I am sure that you will be inspired to create something similar to hers OR
the rest of the team from
this Blog Hop
Please Share your creations on Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! FB group.

Thanks for joining me and the team.

Ink & Share November Blog Hop - Happy Holidays

Welcome to Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop

It's been a long while since I participated in Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop.
Too long that I had to go searching for all the graphics.
So our prompt this month was Happy Holidays and this photo below.

Inspired I was by this photo and I came up with a very simple layout...
I am strapped for time at this time of the year, just like everyone.

Using a piece of Garden Green 12 x 12  Cardstock for my base
Then I added 2 Strips of Painted Christmas DSP along the top and the bottom.

Next I added my photo mats for the 2 - 4 x 6 photos. Using the same DSP as the strips.
Calypso Coral Cardstock for the inner frames of the photo mats.

I LOVE  this Christmas Season Stamp and matching Seasonal Label Dies.
Buy it for 10% off when brought as a Christmas Season Bundle.
This stamp set has multiple leaf stamps including the Holly leaves,
pinecones and berry stamps.
I chose to use Soft Sea Foam Ink and Evening Evergreen to create my Holly leaves
Stamping firstly in Soft Sea Foam then re-inking using the same colour then using a dauber to add highlight of  Evening Evergreen to the outer edges of the leaves.

I used Early Espresso and Real Red for my stems and holly berries.  With the matching
dies it makes it so much easier to cut them out with the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss.

Lastly I added the Merry and Bright from Delicate Baubles Die set.
First I cut the background layer in Real Red Cardstock
Then I cut the actual Bauble die out of Basic White Cardstock.
Then I wanted to bring the Garden Green Cardstock into the Bauble so I cut
another die in Garden Green and cut away the words
Merry and Bright and stuck that right over the top of the Basic White layer.

Here is the completed layout without photos as I will use it for this year's photos

Please follow along the Blog Hop and check out everyone's
Scrapbooking Layouts and how they were inspired by the photo.

Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! Nov 18th Blog Hop - Scraplift

Welcome to November's Blog Hop, one week later than normal.
This month, Courtenay has challenged us to use creative licence
to Scraplift a layout from anywhere and do our own version of this layout.

Each of the Scrapbooking Global Creative Design Team participate monthly in the blog hop.
Each month
one of our Design Team picks a Theme to challenge our creativity.
We’d love it if you join us each month! WE usually hop the 3rd Thurs of the Month.

Whether you are a beginner Scrapbooker or a Long term Scrapbooker,
we welcome you to create a Scrap layout with Stampin' Up! products and share your project.

Hello I am Sharon and I LOVE to Scrapbook BUT lately I haven't done much of it.
Nothing quite like a challenge to inspire me to whip up a quick layout.
You may have started the Blog Hop with me or joined me from Julia Quinn's blog

So when I say quick this one took me only 2 hrs and I was inspired by Sherry Roth,
Sherry is a fellow Creative Design Team Member and a very talented Scrapbooker.
Sherry lives in Canada and the layout I chose to scraplift is this one right here.
Sherry used a Paper Pumpkin kit, if you click on the photo it will take you right to her post.
This kit has not been released here in Australia yet, BUT as soon as it is
I will be adding it to my stash of kits to use for scrapbooking.

For my scraplift layout I chose to keep it very simple just like Sherry had done.

PRODUCTS USED
Hand-Penned Memories and More Card Pack pg 127
Hand-Penned Memories and More Cards and Envelopes pg 127
12 x 12 Basic White Cardstock pg 136
12 x 12 Beautifully Penned DSP (Sorry retired SAB product)
Pale Payaya Cardstock pg 123
Basic White Cardstock pg 123
Penned Flowers Dies pg 159
Fabulous Florals Dies pg 162
Genial Gems which co-ordinate with Hand-Penned Suite pg 142
Loose Flowers Flourishes pg 141
Baker's Twine Essentials Pack pg 140
Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon (retired product)

The centre part of the layout is filled with 2 Memories and More Cards
The card in the bottom left is actually 2 cards, the card had Days Like This printed on it
And I fussy cut the flower from another card in the collection.
The detail on the top of left card is from 2 sticker sheets that is included as well.
(see photos below)

I cut several of the sticker sheets to create this element above.

Next I added some Basic White diecuts from Penned Flowers Dies
to both sides of the centre panel to copy Sherry's pretty diecuts.
As well as some Loose Flower Flourishes in Pale Payaya.

Just  a few more details from the Memories and More cards

This I cut out to put behind the centre panel as Sherry did.
Also I chopped up the back panel off the envelope from
Memories and More Cards and Envelope to add just another element.
And the front panel off of the card to use with Fabulous Flowers Dies.

This layout I am going to add photos of my niece Shae's from her Graduation.
She wore the most Beautiful Silver gown. I cannot wait to add to this layout.

Up next is Sherry Roth, the creator of the original Scrapbook Layout.
I truly hope she feels I have done her layout justice with my Scraplift.
I am sure that whatever Sherry has created alongside the rest of the members of
this Blog Hop that you will be inspired to create something similar to theirs.
Please Share on Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! FB group.

Thanks for joining me and the team.

Have a Great Day, hopefully it involves scrapbooking.

CARD 3 – SlidingEasel Card (INSPIRED BY JULIE DAVISON)

DISCLAIMER - FOLLOW ALONG WITH JULIE’S VIDEO
YOU WON’T MAKE THE MISTAKES I MADE.

1.      Tent Fold Card Base – Basic White Thick Cardstock
11” x 4 1/4” scored at 5 ½”
OR 28cm x 10.8cm
Open card up laying flat on your Trimmer,
Cut two lines 1” from each long side from
1” down to 4 ½”.  Cut between the lines at 4 ½”.

2.       Score between the lines at 1” and 2 ¾” from the top,
(which I said 1 ¾” from the cut line in video).
(I forgot to do 1” score line on the video)
SORRY
I did it later a couple of step later.

3.       Add two strips of Tear n Tape to the right side and the left side of the our base card,
DO NOT PULL OF TAPE YET!

4.      Basic White Cardstock – Insert 3 ¼” x 4” OR 8.2cm x 10.2cm
Stamp the Baubles in Polished Pink Ink at the top of the slider on the right side
Stamp the sentiment in Misty Moonlight Ink
on the left side almost level with the 1st Bauble

Punch a small hole in the middle of your insert,
just eyeball where the centre is on the grid paper or measure like I did.

5.       Bring our Tent Fold Card Base back in, where we will stamp the
hidden Sentiment under the flap that becomes part of our slider.
Pop up your slider (This is where in the video 28.27 min mark
that I did the second score line from instruction two)
Stamp with Polished Pink the Sentiment,
trying to make sure that you centre it when stamping.

6.      On cut out piece from the middle of
Tent Fold Card Base to add a hinge.
In the video I said we needed a Basic White scrap 2 ½” x 1”
BUT
I corrected myself and cut the piece down to 2” x 1”
folding in half to form our hinge.
Stick the folded flap close to the inside edge of the slider
with Multipurpose glue. (see video at 31.08 min mark)

7.       Place our Basic White Cardstock – Insert back into our card
so that we can stick the slider to the insert.
You will have your 2 strips of Tear n Tape on either side of your card.
Align the insert to be centred inside your card,
then add some Multipurpose glue to the other side of the hinge
and stick that to the centred insert. This creates the slider.

I realised in the video that I made my insert that little bit too long
so I chopped off about ½” from the insert
(see video at 33.06 min mark)
I adjusted the measurements in instruction No 4
to reflect this mistake.
FOLLOW ALONG WITH JULIE’S VIDEO
YOU WON’T MAKE THE MISTAKES I MADE.  LOL!!!

8.      Blue Trees DSP 4 ¼” x 5 ½” OR 10.8cm x 14cm –
Cut Frame on your trimmer at the 1” mark from 1” to 4 ½”  mark on both sides
then turn to the 1” mark again and trim between the two cut lines top and bottom.
This creates the outer frame to cover your Basic White Cardstock – Thick.
Attach to the outside with preferred adhesive.
I forgot something else, you need to use the Label Me Fancy Punch to cut a finger pull hole in this layer to pull up the ribbon to reveal the slider.
See my first card,Turn the punch upside down to centre it
and cut out the little piece of shape with Label Me Fancy Punch.
Pull cover off your Tear N Tape and stick card together.

9.    Basic White Cardstock – Scrap to Stamp Tree in Misty Moonlight Ink
then Die cut Tree with Christmas Tree Dies
through the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
Attach Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the Tree on the middle bottom half.

Basic White Cardstock – Scrap to Stamp two(2) Small Tree in
Polished Pink Ink then Die cut Tree with Christmas Tree Dies
through the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
(Video stops at 40.03 min mark, see Video 2 of 2 to continue this card)

10.    Using Multipurpose glue stick your two(2)
Polished Pink trees
to the inside of the slider on either side.
Making sure not to put the glue up too high like I did.
Then we add our Misty Moonlight Tree with dimensionals to the middle of that slider.

11.     Cut 12” OR 31cm Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon
to tie your bow at the top of your slider with the hole we cut in instructions No 4

12.    2021-2023 In Color Jewels –
Add 3 Polished Pink jewels to the tops of the Die cut Trees

13.    Video Link on You-Tube, I had issues with my videos so there are two videos.
