Ink, Stamp, Share - Occasions & Sale-A-Bation

Welcome to Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop
This is my first month with this group of talented group of Demonstrators.
WOW I cannot believe that we are already almost at the end of January.
I have been a demo for the past 5 yrs and I absolutely LOVE Stampin' Up! products.

This month we are focusing on the Spring/Summer or Occasions catalogue.
I have chosen a couple of cards that I created while I had a couple of Demonstrator
friends from Hervey Bay in Queensland visit last week.
My friends arrived with kits and said we are making these...

I got to use one set that I don't own - Nine Lives - 148703 and the Cat punch - 144666
I had never done a split front on a card like this before.  We also decorated the envelope.
This card has random stamping on the background, anyone who knows me knows
that I don't do random stamping this weekend was a whole lot of random stamping.
Was great to get out of my comfort zone...
Sorry I don't have any STEP BY STEP to show you.

Then we used my Geared Up Garage to create the other kits.
As I had told my friends that I had this stamp set and they didn't own it,
it was a great opportunity to try out some new designs....
You can see the first one we created with more random stamping here...

Then this is the other kit that my friend created was with Classic Garage DSP - 148482
and a couple of stamps from Geared Up Garage - 148590.
AND the Garage Gears Thinlits Dies - 148521.

Vicky cased the design from the catalogue...BUT changed it!!!

We die cut the cogs from black DSP and tore some of the red DSP.
We just used a straight piece of DSP in front of the torn read bits
with the cogs behind it...
We fussy cut out one of the cars from the DSP.

Of course I had to change a couple of things on mine....Just to be that little bit different.

I added some of the Black and Silver ribbon underneath my sentiment.
I also added Versamark to both my cogs and car cut out
and then put embossing powder over the lot and heat embossed it to give it a real gloss.
Looks Magic...Not that the photos really show it up.

Then my other friend Marnie did one of the kits I had left over from a class
the previous weekend using Geared Up Garage.
Not much stamping on this card, except the sentiment and a bit of oil on the corner.
Such quick and easy cards with DSP and a couple of stamps as well a couple of inks..

Hope you liked my selection of cards, please leave me some LOVE below
in the comments and box and continue hopping through the rest of the participants.

Ink & Share Scrapbook - Celebration

Welcome to Ink and Share Scrapbook Blog Hop.
Today there are 8 Demonstrators from around the world who will showcase
our individual scrapbooking style with Celebration as the theme.

You may have started the Blog Hop with me or just joined me from Rebecca Jo's Blog
Rebecca is a fellow Aussie who loves to scrap just like me.

This theme was such an easy one and the layout came together so easily.
Celebrate can be for anything I believe, these photos are of a little girl
who LOVES Christmas and her puppy <3

I always start with my photos and I always almost take the
colours from the photo to pick my DSP and embellishments.
I used Under The Mistletoe Designer Series Paper and
Happy Tails Stamp Set & Dog Builder Punch.

OR
Buy the Bundle and SAVE 10%

I cut my green spotted DSP to 7 3/4" x 8" for behind the photos.
The behind the main photo I used the check DSP which is 6 1/2" x 4 1/2"
Then I cut a strip of Poppy Parade Cardstock 2 3/4" x 12"
which I randomly stamped HO HO HO on with Poppy Parade ink.
This stamp comes from Labels to Love

One of my team had this punch and I asked if I could borrow it.
I stamped the puppy outline in Sahara Sand then added the spots with stamped off or 2nd generation ink to make them like her puppy. The dog paw prints are the same colour.

I am scrapping photos of her daughter Sophie and her puppy Buzz.
All Dressed Up For Christmas Shoot...This kid LOVES any animal.
AND you can tell just by these photos, I don't know that poor Buzz was as happy.

I stamped the words HEY SANTA from Lined Alphabet Stamp set in Sahara Sand too,
BUT I think I will add paw prints to the lettering as it is too stark.

The HERE COMES SANTA PAWS is from Pick A Pennant Stamp set
and I used Poppy Parade ink.

I know that Sophie is going to LOVE this layout which I will frame and give to her.
I do LOVE this set, not one that I thought I might need in my collection...
BUT this has convinced me that I do!!!

What do you reckon?? Will you buy this set too
Up next is Jo Blackburn, click on the NEXT button to follow on to her blog.
I am sure that she would appreciate you leaving her some LOVE <3
Please leave us a comment, we would LOVE to know what you think.

Scrapbook Sunday - Winter/December Daily

Thank you for joining us here at Scrapbook Sunday.
We are a group of Demo's from all around the globe who
have a LOVE of Scrapbooking...
You may have joined me from
Marcy Denning blog
or are starting the Hop with me.

This month our theme is Winter/December Daily.
As I live in Central Queensland Australia we don't really get a Winter here
I have decided to go with December Daily, focusing on Dec 25 to be precise...

I got to be honest with you I really struggled to put something on paper today.
I tried to work with Pocket page Scrapbooking, which didn't go so well!!!
So then I just thought I would use the components of Santa's Workshop
Memories and More card pack and created a very simple layout.

No Stamping or Inks just Memories and More cards
and Santa's Workshop Specialty DSP and 2 photos.
Very simple I am afraid.

Just the littlest bit of fussy cutting, on all of the little elves from the DSP.
Sadly this set SOLD OUT, BUT I have lots of DSP still left over...

I used Black 12 x 12 Cardstock, which is now retired too.
The scalloped border is cut from the DSP.

Thank you for hopping along with all ten of us, please click the NEXT button to follow on
to Tina Riddle's blog... I am sure that she will have something AMAZING to share with us.

Please leave me some LOVE in the comment box below
and I will reply to you in the coming days...

Stampin Dreams - Beginner, Casual & Avid

Welcome to Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop, we are showcasing
the  Beginner, Casual and Avid Styles of Cardmaking.
You may have just joined me from
Angélique Nederpel blog

I chose to use the Classic Garage Suite, which incorporates
Geared Up Garage and Garage Gears Thinlits Dies.
You can purchase these separately or if you buy in a bundle you save 10%.

For the Beginner card maker you only have a basic kit of stamps and ink and cardstock...
So I used
Very Vanilla cardstock with Melon Mambo Ink and
Gray Granite ink pad to create the words and the car.
Then I put a small amount of ink on the stamp and added smoke behind the car...
I also stamped on the envelope with the ink spill.

For the Casual Stamper it is someone who has a few more colours of cardstock.

For the Avid Stamper they have an array of Stampin' Up! products that can be used together to create a more detailed card.
Here we have use the Big Shot and the Thinlit dies to create a cog and
added that to outside of our card. Using another cog we daubered ink over our card
then added the nuts and oil spill.

We still just stamped the different coloured inks and stamps to create a random background look on the outside of our envelope card

Here are the upcoming themes for 2019 Blog Hop, please join with us...

Up next is Narelle with her creations

When I use a sketch as my inspiration, I basically look at the design elements
and decide to break down all the components...
Even though they have used lots of different coloured patterns, you don't
have create your layout exactly the same as the design.
It is just a guide, to follow NOT COPY!!

Sooo this layout I have kept it very simple...I have used the photos as my layering.
Limited stamping, BUT the focus is on the Sale-A-Bration FREE products.
Botanical Butterfly DSP and Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets.
AND Butterfly Due Punch and Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies.
AS well as Designer Series Paper from Occasions Catalogue called Tropical Escape 6 x 6.

Look at the shimmer of these Foil Sheets

Whisper White 12x12 Cardstock with Black A4 Cardstock for the centre.
I cut 2 strips of Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheets to add to the edge of the black.

I cut the foil with Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies to create frames.
I added a small piece of Botanical Butterfly DSP to behind the photos,
before sticking this to the black I cut away the butterflies
from the design to add to my page.
I used Blushing Bride Ink to stamp the sentiment from Strong and Beautiful

I did use carried over Black Foil Sheets from Holiday catalogue as other frames.
I fussy cut the flowers from Tropical Escape DSP to add to the layout.
Cut out the Congrats out of the Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheets (Sunshine Wishes Dies)
The date stamp has been stamped with Pick a Pennent Stamp Set and
Blushing Bride Classic Stamp Pad Ink.

I absolutely love the FREE products...
The
Botanical Butterfly DSP and Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets
is a FREE choice with each $90 you spend between Jan3 and Mar 31st.

Stamp n Hop - SAB – Sale-A-Bration

Welcome to Stamp 'N Hop Blog Hop for SAB - Sale-A-Bration
You may have just joined me from Anastasia
she always creates AMAZING projects.
I am using the Let It Ride Cling Stamp Set, I know this one is going to be a favourite.

Mine is a very simple and easy card that I whipped up this afternoon with my SIL.
She shared it today on Demonstrator Planning Place... I just had to make it.
She still had everything set up from when she made this card. I own this stamp
BUT have not used it yet... I might have to have a play with it in my own studio.

We used the Stamparatus to create this card, we placed the horse in position.
We added the ink to the last horse first , I used Soft Suede ink...
We used full strength ink, then using the stamparatus hinge action we added
2nd generation inking to the 2nd horse and
then 3rd generation inking to the last horse. The ink is very light.
As this was a bit of a rush job I didn't take any progress photos...
See how the horse colour goes from light to dark. Such a great effect!!!

If you want to follow us on any further hops here is what is coming up.

Global Stamping Friends EXTRAORDINARY - Occasion - Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop

Welcome to Global Stamping Friends EXTRAORDINARY Blog Hop
All 17 of us are focusing on the recently released Occasions catalogue
and Sale-A-Bration FREE products.

I am doing this project very last minute...BUT I knew it had to EXTRA SPECIAL.
So I quickly browsed Pinterest for an idea to create some that lil bit extra special.
I found a card made by Lisa Curcio who shared a you tube how to make the

POP UP CORNER SWING PANEL CARD.

So I decided to make it out of the beautiful All My Love Designer Series Paper
and Lovely Lipstick  & Whisper White cardstock....
As well as using co-ordinating Meant To Be Cling Stamp Set
and matchingBe Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.
PERFECT for my Valentine, My Husband of almost 29yrs.

So this product quickly comes together with a few lil tricks to make it sit
together properly to form a corner card with a swing panel.
Watching this video made it a whole lot easier.
You start with a 8" x 8" piece of cardstock, scored at 4" on both directions.
Score the bottom quadrants on an angle as directed in the video. Then trim as directed.
You will end up with something like this.

I then cut 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 pieces for the inside sentiment and the DSP cover.
Then I used the Heart to cut out the of the DSP cover

Next I decorated the inside with Vellum and the Filigree Heart

Here is a full view of the card...

I had to use a sticky dot to hold in place to photograph
BUT this panel needs to be moved, so it can be folded up!!!
Will photograph that tomorrow.

Thank you for joining me and the rest of the Bloggers for Global Stamping Friends.
