We Create The Blues Blog Hop

Welcome to We Create Blog Hop with all the lovely Demonstrators
around the globe that are hopping today with this common theme.

The Blues: Use any shades of blue and please keep it as monochromatic as possible.
Blue should be the main color with minimal accents of other colors.

Every month when we sign up to participate we actually choose a set we want to use.
With the Occasions catalogue going LIVE on the 3rd Jan, I chose a set that
I knew that I would LOVE from the moment I saw it in the catalogue.
Beauty Abounds (New Cling Mount) on Pg 13, it also has matching Thinlits.
If you buy the Bundle you save 10% immediately, so that is what I did!

You may have just joined me from Kimberley's Blog Or started with me.
I cannot wait to show you the Decor piece that I created with this suite.

So very Thankful that Stampin' Up! have Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets 144106.
These sheets are double sided adhesive so that you can stick them to the cardstock
and then cut out your die and then peel away the backing sheet and stick it straight down.

They made my job so much easier than having to glue all the lil pieces by hand.

I actually created a frame for inside a shadow box frame,
it took me all day to create the border and it was very messy....
I didn't even use Beauty Abounds stamp set until today.

Here is almost the finished product....
I made a couple of adjustment before I was happy with the border of the matted frame.
I used a generic set of Stitched Rectangles to create my matted frames..
AS SOON AS I CAN I WILL BE BUYING Stampin' Up!'s
Check them out on pg 28 of the Occasions catalogue.

Now to the insert...Which only took about 2 Hrs.
I stamped the Bubbles with Night of Navy, Blueberry Bushel and Balmy Blue Inks
on Balmy Blue Cardstock, which was matted with the other 2 colours.
Then I ran this through the Big Shot with both the Butterfly Dies and Embossing Mats
You can see in the second image how the dies only embossed not cut...
This makes our dies so versatile, with multiple uses

I added the Large Butterfly as it was too plain without it, don't you agree...

Here is the finished Shadow Box Frame Decor piece for my Studio.
Tomorrow I will try to get a better colour photo of it as this looks too bright!!

Hope you liked my project, I sure enjoyed creating this frame.
Up next is Tricia Butts, I am sure she will have something pretty special too.

Thank you for hopping along with us, please remember to leave us some love.
We all love to know what you think of our projects.
I will be back tomorrow with a comprehensive list of products that I used.
Cheers Shaz
