Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop - 15th Feb - Portraying Pets

Sneak Peak 0f my title of my layout

Welcome to Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop - Feb 15 - Portraying Pets.
This month we have Guest Designer Charlotte Harding showing us
why she LOVES her pampered pet so much.  Brandy looks so Adorable <3
Charlotte has a clever way of creating an AMAZING layout for this challenge.
Charlotte has included a PDF which will be uploaded into the
Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! Group after 2pm

We are trying to encourage EVERYONE to join in the HOP's every month.
We prefer that you do have a Blog so that you can join the hop every month.
BUT you don't have to have a blog to participate in these monthly challenges
by submitting a photo to the Album of the Month after 2pm AEDT.

You can JOIN Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! FB group here

I knew that this Blog Hop Layout would be of my Grand Daughter Eloise
and her dogs (Well technically they are her Mum's) BUT she LOVES them so much <3
They are Dalmatians and they a half siblings.  Kenzo was Kirrily's first puppy
then Sienna his half sister was born and Kirrily couldn't resist her liver spot colour.
These pair of dogs have the most wonderful nature.  AND they are so good with Eloise.

So let's get onto to how I created this layout... Just basically a layout with lots of photos.
The products that I used to create it were
Basic White 12" x 12" Cardstock -
Real Red Cardstock - #106578
Basic White Cardstock - #159228
Just Kiddin' DSP - #162828
Mini Alphabet Dies - #162934
Bee Builder Punch - #162553
By My Side Cling Stamp Set - #159006
Adhesive Backed Hearts & Flowers Embellishment - #162557
Stampin' Dimensionals  - #104430
Multipurpose Glue - #110755
Most Adored 12" x 12" DSP from Sale- A- Bration (FREE with a $90 purchase) - #162975

For this layout I dreamt that I had to use the cute Little characters from Just Kiddin' DSP.
It is so nice to be able to put so many photos on a page layout BUT yet it not
feel too much for the page. I kept the simplicity of DSP and Title, no techniques.

I fussy cut all the little characters from this DSP as I only brought the paper.
So many variations of what children do in their everyday lives.
You really need to go check it out...Pg 49 of the Jan-Apr Mini Catalogue.

And of course I used Most Adored 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series (Heart papers)
from the Sale-A- Bration products that you can earn for FREE simply by spending $90.

I firstly cut the Most Adored Gold Heart DSP 12" x 3 3/4" adhered that with tear n tape
along the bottom of the page layout.
Next I cut the Real Red Heart DSP to 2 x  6" x 4" photo mats.
Added Basic White photo mats on top of the Real Red Hearts DSP
I printed the photos BUT they were not the typical sizes that I normally print.
They were printed from some app that Kirrily uploads all the photos into.
So I had to cut all the photos down.

Then I just matted them all with Real Red Cardstock, Bubble Bath Heart DSP OR
Bubble Bath and Real Red Stripe DSP and matted them together on the layout.
I punched out several different heart with the Bee Builder Punch and scattered them
all around the photos and the Titles.

I only used 1 stamp on this entire layout and that was from By My Side Cling Stamp.
I stamped "Nice to have you by my side" in Real Red Ink.
And I added a small pink heart from the Adhesive Backed Hearts & Flowers Embellishments.

My husband helped me out with all the die-cutting of the letters for the Titles.
He just die-cut all the letters from Mini Alphabet Dies out of Real Red Cardstock.

I just LOVE how the completed page layout has come together,
it is AMAZING that I had a dream about this layout, telling me to use the
Just Kiddin' DSP.

This year we are trying something completely NEW...
We asked members of our group of over 6K+ members from
Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! to become designers for the next 8 months.

We are trying to encourage EVERYONE to join in the HOP's every month.
We prefer that you do have a Blog so that you can join the hop every month.
BUT you don't have to have a blog to participate in these monthly challenges
by submitting a photo to the Album of the Month after 2pm AEDT.

So our 1st Guest Designer of the Month is Tina Parsons,
Tina creates Beautiful scrapbooking layouts and uploads
them to our group regularly and now she is participating in our Blog Hop.
You can follow Tina here on Instagram

Tina's Theme is Men In Your Life

Men In Our Life is such a great theme, one that I am often creating believe it or not.
This layout is for my Son's Wedding Album.  He only got married in Oct 23.
Jeffrey is my eldest child and he is such a WONDERFUL Human being.
He has the most beautiful soul.

This layout is a bit of a mix up of a lot of products from both
the Annual Catalogue and the Jan - Apr Mini Catalogue.
I am participating in an Insta HOP tomorrow with Monochromatic Colours
and the colour is Boho Blue one of our NEW InColors and I thought I should
use that colour for this layout.  Sooo it is very Blue with a splash of Black,
the many tones of Boho Blue.

I would call this style of scrapbooking - Grungy. Layers of ink, embossing pastes
and torn or shabby edges on our papers and cardstock.

Firstly I layed down some Boho Blue Ink over the houndstooth mask (retired)
with a blending brushing making sure that I added lots of depths of ink.
Layering it thickly and thinly in different places.

Then I added some Shimmery White Embossing Paste over a circle mask (retired)
this brings the Boho Blue Ink into the paste and turns to a shade of Boho Blue Ink.

I used Notes of Nature stamp sets to create the background stamping.
Once again using the ink on the stamp to add 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation stamping.
Basically it just means by stamping more than once you get a different colour ink.

I used 2 different Designer Series Paper for my DSP elements on the layout.
Fresh As A Daisy 12" x 12" DSP - 23 - 24 Annual Catalogue
Poetic Expressions 12" x 12" DSP - Jan - Apr 2024 Mini

Also used several sets of dies to add elements to my layout.
Alphabet A La Mode Dies
Wanted To Say Dies
Radiating Stitches Dies

The other thing that I add right at the end of my creating process where
some of the cards from Sweet Thoughts Memories & More Cards.
I LOVE adding these to my scrapbooking layouts and they are really
cool to make quick and easy cards with too.
I chopped into one card and used both sides of it.
I also used one of the stickers as well.

My layout also included some black and white ribbon that just
finished it off I believe.

Scrapbooking Global - Nov 16, 2023 - Layers Upon Layers

Welcome to Nov 16th Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop, which is held monthly.
You can join us over Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up!  FB group.
We have over 6000 members, we exclusively use Stampin' Up! products

We have Designs team member and members of the group create a layout
for the specific theme.

This month Delys Cram chose the theme Layer Upon Layer,
I am very HAPPY to say that this is my favourite kind of theme.
I am a layers girl and I love adding layers over layers.

I am sure that this month, you will LOVE what we have all created
as it is something a little bit different to our normal styles.

Delys Cram as Creative Design Team Member this month,
her favourite thing to do is add lots of layers to her Scrapbooking layouts.

It is AMAZING how we start out with the very basics,
Stamps, Ink and Paper.
You may be joining me from Cheryl's Blog
which I am sure from previous layouts that Cheryl creates
it will be a FABULOUS design with this theme.

AND then you add some layers to your project, here in this photo
I firstly added some Calypso Coral ink  directly to my 12 x12 White Cardstock
with a blending brush and the Foursquare Decorative Masks.
Then over the top of that I changed masks and
added some Shimmery White Embossing Paste with a spatula.
just randomly over the entire surface of my layout.
PLEASE NOTE - Wash your masks and spatula's immediately
after using embossing paste.
ANOTHER NOTE - If your Embossing Paste has harden since the last time
you used it, add little bits of water and moisten it again.
Little by Little is the best way to reactivate it.

Next I added some stamping and fussy cutting to add some more layers.
I stamped the leaf leayer in Pretty Peacock onto the Delightful Floral DSP
and Fussy cut them out.
Next I stamped Petal Park 2 step stamps in Calypso Coral & Petal Pink
AND also Poppy Parade on Basic White Cardstock and then used
co-ordinating punch to cut all the flowers out.

Same again BUT for the right side of the layout this time <3

I also used some of the Petal Park Punched Flowers on the Sentimental Park Dies.

Now this idea for the photos came from a French Demonstrator who
presented at OnStage@Home with the Lighter Than Air Suite.
Emilie Veyessilier presented a Birthday invitation so
I thought I would try to make it to include photos.
Which I did in a large version...

I always have trouble with my lighting for my photos, this layout is way brighter
than what it is showing up here.
I hope you enjoyed my layout with Layers Upon Layers.

Up next is Jill Hamlet with her AMAZING layout...
Please follow along with either the NET button or the link at the end of our post
with all the names of participants.

I want to say a HUGE THANKS to you who visit my blog and comment it really means a lot to me.  I really do appreciate you leaving me some Lovin' in the form of a comment.

Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! Blog Hop - Shapes by 9

Welcome to Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop for November 2020.
Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! is a group for those of you who
LOVE SCRAPBOOKING and who use Stampin' Up! products on their layouts.
Join us here...

We have the lovely Creative Design Team Sara Levin who got to choose this theme...
Shapes by 9...
IE: repeat a single shape of your choice 9 times in creating your layout.
This certainly made me think very differently...

You may have just joined me from Sara's Blog, her creation is just AWESOME!!!
We have 9 of us creating our very own versions of Shapes x 9.

I immediately looked at my Dies to see what shapes I could use...
I just purchased Stitched Triangles and I thought that I would just case the layout
on pg 35 of our Annual Catalogue...
BUT I went on a totally different tangent....
I thought that I would be make an alternate project with the products from
The Paper Pumpkin Kit - Joy To The World.
These kits are normally only sold in USA, BUT this year we have had 2 kits
sold globally to all the markets within Stampin' Up! company.

I was inspired by Rachel Tessman who made 40 cards from her 8 card kit by using
extra cardstock and cutting up the envelopes and cards to make them go further.
Sherry Roth who is also on our Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! also created
and alternative Scrapbooking Layout from the Joy To The World Kit

I could see a Christmas Tree as soon as I cut out all the triangles
So I created a Christmas Tree with 9 Stitched Triangles...
OHHH this Shapes x 9 is turning out easier than I thought!!!

So I had a tree so this layout was going to have to be a Christmas themed layout...
So I continued using the Paper Pumpkin Kit to create this layout.
I drew a circle in the middle of my Whisper White 12x12 Cardstock
to create a wreath with the wreath stamp...
I stamped 9 Wreaths stamped in Just Jade Classic Stampin Pad on my layout....
I added some berries around the wreath with Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin Pad.
I knew that I would place my Christmas Tree down the LHS side of the wreath.

I used some of the Cable Kit Embossed Card and Floral Die cuts from Joy to the World Kit
to fill the centre of the wreath.  I also used some Cherry Cobbler cardstock for my mats...
I overlapped the 2 photo mats...Adding Stampin' Dimensionals to the RHS so that I could
still add a photo on the LHS photo mat...

Next I added the Floral Die cuts again with Stampin' Dimensionals...
to allow for photo placement.
Lastly I added the Christmas Tree made from the envelope and cardstock....
Then I added the gold word from the word Die cuts in the packs.

Here is my finished layout...

Up next is Sharni Haines, I am absolutely positive that Sharni
will create something totally AMAZING...She always does!!!
